“Sorry” she apologised, backing down. “I just didn’t get much sleep last night.”
“Mom in residence?” he asked understandingly.
“Nope, absent as the day after I was born. Just not sleeping I guess.” It was a feeble lie but she hoped he’d buy it.
“Hey guys”, Spencer was breathless from her fight through the packed corridors and Ashley could have fainted with the sound of her voice. Sexy, soft and…
‘You really have to not think these things in the corridor at school you know’
“Hey” Ashley replied, completely spaced out now that the blonde was here.
“I gotta get to class” said Aiden, “See you guys at lunch?”
“Uh huh” the girls chorused, Ashley swearing internally as the bell rang.
“I’d better go too” At least Spencer looked sad about it, if not a little wistful too.
“Ok… lunch?” hope filled Ashley’s voice.
“Absolutely.”
The next two classes were interminable. The first without Spencer, which was lonely, and the second with Spencer, which was torture. Watching her, sitting near her, and not being able to talk to her was almost worse than not seeing her at all. In fact, all Ashley wanted to do was grab the girl by the hand and take her somewhere they could be alone. To her surprise, she didn’t really even care what they did when they got to be alone so long as they were.
‘My, my, haven’t we changed.’
Lunch finally rolled around, and they weren’t quite alone since Aiden was hanging but it was better than nothing. Just the three of them sitting there. That was until some guy Ashley barely recognised turned up. About to ask him if he had a problem, the brunette was glad she’d kept her mouth shut when Spencer spoke up:
“Hey Clay. This is Ashley and this is Aiden, guys, this is my brother Clay.”
“Cool, pleased to meet you” Aiden politely shook his hand. Ashley did the same, but stayed silent.
“Nice to meet you guys” Clay had a pleasant voice and from the outside looked to be considerably less jerk like than Glen. “Spencer, you need a lift home, Glen said he’d wait.”

Spencer is like…being all…and…being…with…and…ummm, she is deffinatley taking a liking to ashley. lol Anyways. Your FIC is amazing and the only thing keeping me sane for the next 2 days.
