An Epic – (Chapter: : 4: Waffles : Part Two)

"Rocket Power, Casey?" Ashley grumbled, collapsing into the family room couch and pulling a blanket over her eyes, "Please, tell me you’re kidding." Casey turned up the volume to drown out Ashley’s whining. "Change the channel, Case!" "No way, It’s all I’ve had for entertainment since ten this morning. It’s not my fault your lazy ass decided to sleep in until 2:30." Casey said matter of factly before turning the volume down. "2:30??" Ashley groaned, squinting at the clock on the cable box. "Why didn’t you wake me up!?" "I tried! I poked you, poured water on you, I even tried telling you that Jenna Jameson was in your shower using your loofa!" "That explains the dream I had…" Ashley muttered under her breath. "What?" "Nothing. Has Spencer called?" "You betcha!" Casey said sarcastcially. "Case…Whatever." Ashley hit speed dial to Spencer’s and left a message on her machine. "So, what’s the deal for the rest of the day?" Casey asked, her eyes still glued to the television. "I was thinking we could go to King, get you set up at your locker, order-in, and flip through the yearbook. Y’know, get you acquainted with some faces before you actually run into them." "Yeah, I should probably figure who to not piss off now." Casey said seriously. Ashley laughed, " So true."

"Madison Duarte, Queen Bitch." Ashley sneered pointing at Madison’s picture in the yearbook. "No way!?" Spencer exclaimed, "Is that why you have the word ‘bitch’ and a crown over it tattooed on her forehead?" "Shut up!" Ashley smirked, stealing a quick kiss. "Please, hold the cheese, guys." Casey muttered. Ashley gave her a look. "What!? I’m lactose intolerant!" Casey yelped sincerely. Before Spencer or Ashley could respond, Casey was already speaking, "What do those little pink dots mean?" "Um..Uh…nothing…" Ashley mumbled quickly turning the page. Casey and Spencer both cocked an eyebrow. Casey started to smirk, getting the symbol. "You hooked up with them, didn’t you? All the little pink dots? Jesus, They’re more pink dots than non pink dots, woman." Ashley stammered, running a hand through her hair, "No, not true." Spencer folded her arms, "Ash…There are so many…You probably went through two pens doing this…" Spencer said quietly. Ashley’s face was turninng red and she kept running hands through her hair as she nervously watched the two girls flip through her yearbook looking for all the little pink dots. "Case, stop!" Ashley yelled, grabbing the book and slamming it shut. Ashley was breathing hard while trying to make eye contact with Spencer. Casey, who obviously didn’t sense the importance of the moment, chimed in, "Atta girl, Ash! I knew monotony wasn’t for you! What do ya say we do the same thing for me in this here book? I’ll be blue dots! Love blue!" Casey exclaimed, clapping Ashley on the back. "Get out." Ashley said seriously. "What?" "Get out of my room, Casey. Now." Casey shrugged and got up to leave but not before turning around and grabbing the yearbook. When the door closed Ashley spoke. "Spence, look…" "Ashley, whatever, don’t worry about it" Spencer replied. "No, I am worried!" Ashley said, getting up and pacing the room. "Ash, sit down. Please?" Spencer asked sincerely. "Look at me…Ash, Ashley, look at me." Spencer placed her hand under Ashley’s chin forcing her to comply. "It’s not like I didn’t know you had a history. I mean…I didn’t know you had that much of history. No offense, but babe, you put the Roman Empire to shame. Anyways, what I’m saying is that it’s okay. I know you’re not like that anymore. I guess I just got sort of…jealous, when I saw all of those people who had been with you like I’m with you." "No! Not like how you’re with me! Spence, you’re so different. Everyone else meant nothing compared to you. Nothing."

    1. First and foremost, this story is pretty good, but you should format it correctly, like with proper paragraphs, and format of dialogue. Everytime you have quotes from a different person it should be a new paragraph The way you have it thru these 1st chapters really messes up the flow of reading. Now, to the story-I have no sympathy for Casey, I have sympathy for her sister, wait, no I don’t because she’s stupid for staying with him. I really don’t like Casey, not just because of what she is gonna do, but she is like acting completely inappropriate regarding Spencer and Ashley’s relationship. I mean, she can live the way she wants, but she needs to stop trying to enforce Ashley’s promiscuous past and respect that she has a gf, I mean Ash is ‘supposedly’ her best friend. If I was Spencer I wouldn’t have even responded to Casey attempt at convo, I would have went straight to Ashley’s room. I hope you update again soon
