didn't see it coming – (Chapter: #1 Prologue)

    PROLOGUE

My name is Ashley Davies. And I’m a lesbian. First time I knew I was. I fell in love with my best friend. Her name is Amy Sanders, and it happened three years a go. I was a senior in high school. A naive person who hates love, or just not believe in it. I was just broke up with my last boyfriend, whom I don’t know how could be mine at the first place. I know I liked him, but there’s nothing more than that, not even near feelings I had for Amy. She’s the first person who gave me butterflies in my stomach. And I thought it was overrated before that. But unfortunately she’s not meant to be mine. She always considers me only as a best friend, nothing more than that. To make it worse, she’s straight. Or I thought she was.

We did share a kiss on the lips once. One time I’ll never forget. But I guess, she’s just confused of what she wants. But that was three years a go and nothing is matter. Right now I’m focusing my self on pursuing my degree. I want to be a musician, who can change world by music. I know it sounds cliche, but that what I want the most. Until, today. The day that changes everything in my life.

"Seriously, Ash. I’ll be more okay if she’s with you than with him."

"Don’t say that, u never know it’ll be true or not."

"Trust me, I mean it. I’ll mean it even more if I got in action with two of you."

    "Ha-ha, perv! You wish."

And that’s a conversation I had with a guy named Aiden a week a go. A guy who just broke up with her girlfriend. I know he’s still into her. But apparently it’s one sided right now. Because as far as I know, she won’t take him back. And I don’t know why.

Aiden Dennison said he had crush on me two weeks a go. Even after I told him that I’m a lesbian, he’s still trying his lame moves on me. Then after that, when he finally understood I couldn’t be more than just a friend with him, we’re being some kind of best buds. Or at least friends who share stories with each other. And we trust each other.

Later on I knew that he’s just approaching me as a rebound girl. He’s still in love with his ex. His ex, who’s apparently I’m falling for right now. And I’m fricking confused about.
