Ashleys POV

Lindsey was sitting in the living room when I got back from Minnesota. It had been a week since I had seen her and eight whole days since I had talked to her. As much as I had wanted to hug her, kiss her, just talk to her, I couldn’t; I couldn’t get passed the look she had on her face, she seemed to be searing with sadness and anger, I knew more than anything that those emotions mixed was a very bad combination. With my past experience I know that I should leave and give her more time to calm down or else I would be the one on the receiving end of her anger.
“Do you want me to leave?” I asked, careful to keep my voice soft and low.
“If that’s what you want, then leave.” She said.

Lindsey’s POV
Eight fucking days, one week and a day since she had even tried talking to me, ok that’s a lie. She did try to call me a few times but I knew that I would end up yelling at her so I ignored her calls and concentrated on work and my new friends named Hypnotiq and Bacardi. My two people friends, Kate and Tally, have also helped me so much, and by helping I mean taking me out and letting me hang with Hyp and ‘Cardi. I know Ash hates it when I drink but I honestly don’t know what I would have done. Just the fact that she left right after that argument we had. We almost broke up and she went running to Spencer. Spencer her best friend since before high school or whatever, Spencer who just happens to be the girl who knows more about Ash than I do, she’s the one who Ashley runs to, the one who makes her feel safe. Spencer, the one person who understands my fiancé more than I do.

And the first thing she says to me after all this time is ‘do you want me to leave?’ it makes me even more angry than I already am. She knows I miss her and I want her with me and she wants to leave?!

“If you want to leave, then leave.”
