Spencer yanked her hand away. "Dont." Spencer knew this was a bad time to be mad at ashley, but something inside of her told her that if she didnt bring it up now, it would eat away at her like a disease.

Ashley got up and sat next to spencer once agian. Spencer sat there ignoring her. "Spence? Spencer, talk to me. please?" Ashley almost sounded like she cared.

"You said you still love him." Spencer said bluntly with an ice cold tone that hit ashley hard. Ashley dropped her head and let it hang freely as a corpse. "How," spencer began letting her feelings out. "why," she corrected. "Would you still love him, and try being with me?

Ashley lifted her eyes to meet spencer’s. Spencers eyes were full of greyness, and so much hurt. "Spencer, there will always be a part of me that loves aiden. I have been through so much with him. So that peice of me is going to always be there. But-"

"I SO dont want to hear this right now." Spencer said trying to release the invisible hold ashley had on her. But the grip was to tight and she stayed where she was only managing to turn her head.

Ashley tried to pick her words more carefully this time. "Spence, what you and i have is special. More important than anything i have ever had before." Spencer looked up and met ashleys gaze. "With aiden, i love him alot…but im not…"Ashley paused searching for the words. "Im not IN love with him. I could never love anyone the same way i love you."

Spencer looked down ashamed that she felt guilty while her best friend was on the line of death. "Im sorry ashley. I shouldnt have jumped to a conclusion." Spencer admitted feeling guilty.

"Its okay spence. Honestly, if i heard you say that you loved some guy, i would probably call you on it too." Ashley tried brightening the mood between them. A doctor walked toward them and sat down on the table in front of them.

The name tag on his shirt read ‘Dr. Moore’. "I have some news on mister Dennison." Ashley and spencer perked up listening closely. "He is going to survive this. Which is good. But he may encounter some brain damage that effects memory. But we dont have to worry about parralysis. Which is good."

"Can we see him?" Ashley asked ignoring everything that the doctor said.

"Yes. He is awake, and he is requesting to see his child, he said you are the mother. Do you have the baby with you?" Ashley and spencer were both shocked and looked at eachother then back to the doctor.
