    AU. Spencer’s the social outcast and has a crush on Ashley. The problem is she isn’t the only one who is pursuing Ashley.

    Spencer and Nick were on the line of the cafeteria. Spencer watched Ashley walk out of the cafeteria with her lunch tray and Nick noticed this. “So Ashley is quite the hottie, huh?” Nick asked Spencer.

    “No, no,” answered a nervous Spencer as she was trying hard not to blush. Spencer got her food. “Thank you very much and have a nice day.”

    “You, too,” the cafeteria worker said. Spencer and Nick walked towards their table.

    “I don’t like Ashley that way,” began Spencer. “So do you like her or something?”

    “Of course not,” Nick stated sarcastically. “You were checking out Ashley since she only happened to be walking by? No, I don’t like your girlfriend that way.”

    “Don’t start with me, Nick,” sighed Spencer.

    “Ashley Davies?” Madison asked overhearing the conversation. Madison scoffed. “Dream on, Spencer. Many have tried, but none have succeeded. It’s undetermined what team she even plays for.”

    “You don’t know if she is?” questioned a surprised Spencer. “What happened to your perfectly tuned gaydar or whatever you call it?”

    “Nope, I don’t,” Madison admitted. “Even if she did play for our team she sure as hell wouldn’t go for you and your baby weight.”

    “Your point?” said an annoyed Spencer. “I don’t even know the girl to like her or anything. How pathetic do you think I am?”

    “It hasn’t stopped you before,” Madison replied. “Remember how you got knocked up to begin with someone so out of your league that it wasn’t even funny. You should’ve aborted the child when you had the chance.” Madison threw her remains of her rice cake in Spencer’s soup and it splashed on Spencer’s face. The students snickered. “She’s most likely an asexual.”

    “She is so not,” stated Spencer. “Maybe she’s a bisexual, but not an asexual.”

    “I hope she isn’t a bisexual or an asexual,” Madison added. “It’ll eliminate the competition.”

    “You mean?” asked Spencer in disbelief.

    “If you plan to win Ashley over, it won’t be easy,” Madison answered. “It’ll be a full blown war.”

    “Do you think she would actually go for someone like you?” questioned Spencer. “I’m sure the girl has taste.” Madison walked away.

    “Things just got a little interesting for you,” observed Nick.

    “No kidding,” Spencer stated sarcastically. “I would’ve never guessed that.” Nick laughed.
