    Who knew a song could change everything

    I must’ve fallen asleep before Spencer got home. I heard the door open but I just rolled over on the couch. I didn’t exactly know if I wanted to face her or not. I heard her walk to her room and sit her things down. I could feel her watching me. Then I heard her walk back out of her room. I felt the pressure of her hand pushing on my shoulder, “Ashley, Ash.”

     

    I grumbled and pushed my face farther into the pillow, trying to ignore her.

     

    “Ashley, get up. It’s only seven thirty, there’s no way you could be in a deep sleep this early.”

     

    Seven thirty? Holy shit, she was home really early. I bolted upright, “Seven thirty?!”

     

    Spencer cracked a smile, “Yeah, seven thirty…at night. I told you that I’d be back early. You didn’t believe me did you?”

     

    I gave her a long look, not speaking a word.

     

    “I told you it wasn’t a date.”

     

    “I know.” I ran a hand through my hair, remembering the song that I written.

     

    Spencer watched me carefully, “Ash, is there something that you want to talk to me about?”

     

    I shook my head out of mid thought, “Huh?”

     

    “Ever since you got home you seem like you have something on your mind. I was just wondering if there was something that you wanted to talk to me about.”

     

    Damn why did she have to know me all too well, “Actually…um…grab your purse I’m taking you somewhere.”

     

    When we got to the studio Spencer knew something was up. I didn’t say a word. I just lead her through the building and into the recording room. We sat down, “I know that you want to know why we’re here. And I want to explain it all, but I wrote a song earlier today. And when I wrote it I wrote it for you.” I turned on the keyboard and gently laid my fingers on the keys, “Here it goes.”

     

    The piano was beautiful. I understood why Mark told me to use it. I flawlessly played with passion

     

    If I could hold you in my arms, it’d be forever.

    If I would let go of your hand, it’d be never.

I LOVE SPASHLY! and the Fact that you added Kelly Clarkson to the story totally made me love it tons more! I love Kelly! this is my favorite fanfic I’ve ever read! pleas Keep Writing!

Az, the lyrics are actually all taken out of my poetry that I’ve written over the past 4 years. But I’m glad that it sounds familiar. Last but not least, Brown_Eyed_Girl I cannot express my gratitude at the fact that you had to make an account to comment on my story. You’re freakin awesome!S! & yeah I love Kelly Clarkson too!
