    Ashley has Emily. She’s over Spencer…right?

    ASHLEY’S P.O.V.

    I hear the front door open and rush to the balcony on the stairs and see Spencer leaning against the front door.

    Ashley: “So, how’d it go?”

    Spencer: “It went…” she contemplates it, then breaks into a smile. “…it was actually great.”

    Ashley: “Really?” I ask. I think that came out in a more disgusted tone than I intended.

    Spencer: “Yeah.” she says slowly, noticing my disgusted tone. “I’m actually thinking about calling her and asking her to go to the movies with me tonight. Since I don’t have anything to do.” she says walking up the steps.

    Ashley: “YoucancomewithmeandEmily!” I say quickly.

    Spencer: “Huh?”

    Ashley: “Me and Emily are going out tonight. You can come with us if you don’t have anything to do.”

    Spencer: “I think I’d rather go with Michelle tonight…I wanna get to know her more.” Why? I want you to come with me.

    Ashley: “Oh…ok.” I say sadly then walk back to my room.

    Why do I feel like this. I’m the one who pushed her into dating, so why am I feeling mopey. I shouldn’t have told her to date. But why can’t she? I mean, I’m with Emily so it doesn’t matter. Plus, I don’t love…have those…feelings for her. Stop lying to yourself, you know you do. But I can’t, I’m not supposed to. I’m supposed to be happy with Emily. She’s my girl and I lo- I can’t even say it. I do have strong feelings of like for her, that means something, right? Of course it does, me and Emmy have been together for a year. But I’ve known Spencer forever. Those kinds of feelings can’t just go away overnight…they don’t.

    Emily and I are walking down the boardwalk having an ice-cream cone. I can’t stop thinking about Spencer, and she’s going on a second date…with the same person! That’s kind of…unusual for her. I mean, she actually had-

    Emily: “Ashley!” she says, pulling me from my thoughts.

    Ashley: “What?” I say surprised.

    Emily: “Your ice-cream’s melting down your hand.” I look down at my hand.

    Ashley: “Shit.” I mumble, holding it away from me, trying not to spill any on my clothes.

    Ashley: “I’ll be back.” I tell Emily. I run to a little food stand on the board walk and grab a few napkins. I take one last lick of the ice-cream and trash the rest, then walk back to Emily.

    Emily: “You ok Ashey? You seem kind of out of it today.” she says looking at me skeptically.

    Ashley: “I’m fine.” I say with a forced smile.

    Emily: “You sure?”

    Ashley: “I said I’m fine.” I say sternly.

    Emily: “Whatever.” she says while shaking her head and rolling her eyes. I look at her.

    Ashley: “I’m sorry babe.”

    Emily: “Are you getting close to ‘that time’ again.” Um…no.

    Ashley: “I guess.” we’re quiet for a bit. “Hey, how’s about I take you to the movies tonight.”

    Emily: “Ok.” I know I shouldn’t, but…I have to see what Spence is up to.

    3. Yay…another update, but I’m not sure if I stated that I don’t like that girl. I think she’s too shy for Spencer. I know that she’s gonna get hurt, because Ashley is the one for Spencer and the poor girl is just a distraction. Blimey, they both need to wake up. Cheers mate.

    4. I’m glad Spence is trying to move on for awhile. I’m even more glad that its driving Ashley crazy. PMS PLASE. I NEED TO SEE WHAT ASHLEY IS GOING TO DO.
