ASHLEY’S P.O.V.
We’re standing on her front porch. The whole Spencer thing keeps fogging up my thoughts. I shake my head to try and rid the memory.
Ashley: “So…I was gonna give it to you tomorrow. But I think now is a better time, so…here.” I say as I pull a long jewelry box out of my hoodie. Emily smiles at me and takes the box, opening it.
Emily: “Oh my God, Ashy! It’s beautiful!” she says looking at the necklace.
Emily: “Thank you Ash.” I smile and she hugs me tightly and I hug back. “I love you.” she whispers in my ear.
My eyes stretch, suddenly my arms feel like noodles and fall loosely from around her. She pulls back and looks at me with furrowed eyebrows. I gulp.
Ashley: “Um…” I knew this would happen sooner or later.
Emily: “Are you gonna say it back?” she says sadly. I open my mouth to say something but I decide against it.
Emily: “You can’t, can you?” I look at the ground. “I’ve been with you for a year, but you still don’t love me.”
Ashley: “I just…that’s not a word I like to toss around. I don’t like to say it unless-” I stop.
Emily: “Unless what?!”
Ashley: “Unless…” I sigh. “…unless I mean it.” I look up at her.
Emily: “I should have known.” she said shaking her head in disbelief. “There’s always gonna be something isn’t it? Those feeling you have for her. For Spencer.” My head shoots up. I stare at her in shock. “They we’re always holding you back.”
Ashley: “How did you-”
Emily: “Everyone can see it. You’d have to be blind deaf and dumb not to. And even then I’d still know because…” she shakes her head with a hurt chuckle. “…you’re so obvious about it.” I look down.
Ashley: “I didn’t mean to be.” she chuckles.
Emily: “You didn’t mean to be…you didn’t mean to be?! All this time…” she shakes her head. “…were you wishing you were with her instead of me?” I say nothing. “Then why were you still with me?!”
Ashley: “I-I didn’t want to hurt you.”
Emily: “Well sorry, you just blew that.” she says hurt. “Did you even really like being with me?”

Well, I see Emily’s not a bimbo. She’s just an asshole for holding Ashley back purposely when she knew Ashley had those feelings. Well, their both unattached, what happens now?
Wow that really sucks, well at least they’re both single now, can that please send them in the right direction.
Well, I’m happy, I think. I totally understand where Emily is coming from and I don’t blame her for treating Ashley the way she did. She totally had it coming. On the bright side, maybe things with Spashley can FINALLY get underway? Pretty please. Love this, lots and lots. PMASAP!!!

if she would have just dumped her in the beginning at the movie theater none of that would have happened and emily would be less heart broken..pms
man at least emily has the courage to tell ash like it is and not bullshit around the issues like ash has been doing. so kudos to her for doing what’s right for herself. ash shouldn’t have been using her as a crutch anyway. can’t wait for your next update and from the looks of how many have commented i’m not the only one.pms!!
