That Girl. – (Chapter: Guys, I'm Gay.)

    Spencer’s POV

And, four years went by.  Ashley would say they took way to long.  I would say she wants to go back to when Taylor couldn’t talk.  Jamie came and Jamie went.  Hell, Stephanie, Tracy, Jessica, and Hailey came and all went as well.  I was happy that Taylor was trying to find new friends, but I wasn’t happy about the results.  They weren’t Sam.  To make matters worse, Sam has stopped calling over a year old.  The letters slowed down, and the Sunday evening phone calls went from every other week, to every month, to none at all.  Sam had a new girlfriend in Florida.  She thought it’d be easier for Taylor to move on if they didn’t talk, and I agree with that.  However, deep down I’m about 99.9% sure that Sam still loves Taylor.  I have been on the receiving end of answering many phone calls lately that get hung up after I answer the phone.  When Taylor answers them, the person on the other end just breaths into the phone.  So, it’s either Sam or some other crazy person.

"So, Ash, we need to talk."  Spencer said.

"Last time you said that you broke up with me."  Ashley said pouting.

"I am not breaking up with you."  Spencer said playfully pushing Ashley.

"Ok.  Then, talk to me baby."  Ashley said sitting down on the sofa.

"Well, I think we should stop being so open about our sex life around Taylor."  Spencer commented.

"Why?  We’ve been open with her for fifteen years."  Ashley said confused.

"I know.  I just feel like now is the age where she is actually going to possibly start having sex, and I don’t really think we’ve done anything to discourage her having sex.  Mainly, we’ve encouraged it."  Spencer said.

"We talked about this when she was a baby, Spence."  Ashley began.  "If we hide it from her, it’s just going to lead to weird conversations.  We can talk to her again about it if you want, or we can just trust her to make a good choice."

"Your right baby.  I’m just worried.  She’s a little fragile right now, and I don’t want her to sleep with the first person that she thinks might be good for her.  Then, in the future she’ll feel bad about it."  Spencer said with a sigh.
