The Way You Are – (Chapter: Chapter 3: Love At First Sight)
"I personally think you’re stalking me." Aiden Dennison leaned in towards Kyla and sat on the high wooden stool. Kyla’s face instantly lit up.
"really? cause i was here first." Kyla smiled as she moved her bag making room for Aiden. "Lab partners huh? you sure about that? Chemistry is my worst subject.
"Well you’re in for a treat because Chem is my specialty." Aiden smirked.
"Hello, seniors. My name is..Mrs…Dunberry." A plump middle aged woman scribbled her name on the white board. "Welcome to AP chemistry. I will be handing out some information packets about what you will need for this course." She handed a paper to Aiden. "Take one, pass it on please." Aiden obeyed.
"hey," Aiden mumbled as he passed the papers to Kyla. "If you’re so bad at Chem, why are you in AP?" His eyes wondered around the paper.
"It looks good on college applications. I guess i got lucky with a super nerdy lab partner, eh?" Kyla laughed while pulling out a purple pen from of her black PINK bag. Aiden smiled.
"it also gives you a great position on the basketball team." Kyla smiled. Just the thought of sitting next to a super hott, smart jock before anyone else made her insides flip around. "what sports do you play?" Aiden looked at her. Kyla snorted.
"Sports? me? HA. no. I um..im actually into theatrical arts." Kyla nodded and looked up for Aiden’s reaction. Kyla knew it was going to be either a giggle or something in that nature. Kyla’s insides settled and sunk down all at the same time. What was she thinking? This kind of guy would go for a drama geek? yeah, right. She was just prepared for whatever was going to come next.
"really?" It didn’t seem like he was asking a question. "do you sing too?" Aiden actually sounded interested.
"well, yeah.." Kyla blushed. Her insides began to dance again. "Not very well, may i might add. But me and Ashley sing together all the time. "
"huh. I’ll have to hear you sometime." He smiled at her. Kyla blushed again and looked down.

"Ashley, I don’t think you should pump the ketchup that hard. it might-" Before Spencer could finish her sentence, Ashley had a ketchup covered hand. She frowned and tried to hold in her anger. Spencer giggled. "here, " Spencer handed her some napkins.
