two cheers for high school!

I woke up in the morning and Spencer was still sleeping…she looked so calm and adorable just lying there in my bed. I didn’t get much sleep that night because I wanted to make sure Spencer was still there and that I wasn’t dreaming. But I got out of bed and went into my bathroom to put in my contacts

“Ashley?” I heard a sleepy voice mutter then I stuck my head out my bathroom door and Spencer was sitting up in my bed

“hey sleepyhead” I told her smiling

“since when do you wake up before noon?” she asked me

“I really didn’t sleep that much…” I told her “…I kept waking up making sure you were still sleeping next to me…” I said sitting on the bed next to her and she kissed me softly letting it linger “…I like waking up next to you” I told her “…I really missed it”

“me too…” she told me kissing me again

“so…what’s going on between us?” I asked her “I mean I don’t want to make any assumptions”

“Ash…Kristin broke up with me last night…”

“I know that’s why I’m saying we can wait or whatever…” I told her

“I don’t want to wait…” she told me “…can we be together again? Just not tell people around school…I mean they’ll be talking about me enough”

“yeah” I told her kissing her again “that wont be easy for me though” I admitted

“I know…you put your arms all around me even when Kristin and me were still dating…” she told me

“that was like two days ago” I said laughing “…but you’re right” I added kissing her again

“I missed kissing you…”

“just kissing?” I asked her

“okay I missed like everything” she told me making me laugh and she laughed too “you know I really do believe you”

“with what?” I asked her

“that you’re not that girl from a year ago” she told me

“I’m really not…” I told her “…but I do still get jealous, and protective…and I have a temper, but I don’t do stupid stuff like I used to”

“except for taunting people” she said

“okay except that…” I replied “…can I at least walk into school with you tomorrow?” I asked her
