Until We Wake – (Chapter: Is this all we’ll ever be?)
"Ashley, please? I promise it will be fun." Spencer whined; she never wants to leave without Ashley by her side.
"Spencer, You know how I am. I’m not good with family. Maybe if I was, I would go." Spencer’s face lit up, she hadn’t really explained to Ashley what this whole ’trip’ was for. Considering the fact that this had nothing to do with family, Ashley would be going. Taking in a deep breathe Spencer started to explain.
"Actually, this has nothing to do with family. More of business and friends. The business part is all my dad’s handling though. You see, he has a new hotel for all these rich people. He knows how they all would rather have their own private bedrooms, kitchens, bathrooms, and everything else. So, he asked me to round up my friends, and live in the place for the Summer, maybe even for the school year. It would be an amazing experience for all of us. I have one more spot, I would SO much rather have you go over anybody else that is going. And, Trevor REALLY wants to meet you, so does Lily. Please just come with me? Kyla and Aiden agreed. Chelsea is coming for Glen. I just need you to be there." Spencer knew Ashley wouldn’t be able to disagree.
"Fine. Fine, you win. I will go on this trip. But, I SO want my own room." Ashley said, defeated.
"That can be arranged." Spencer smiled and happily walked from Ashley’s room, and straight to Kyla’s
Kyla and Aiden were already packed. And sitting on the bed; looking like little kids with their fingers crossed, hoping for the best. When they heard Spencer’s heel hit the tile in her room, their heads shot up and Kyla almost screamed "What did she say? Do we get to go?" Spencer vigorously shook her head yes. Kyla smiled wide and ran to Ashley jumping up and down on her bed. "OH ASHLEY YOUR THE MOST AMAZING PERSON EVER!" Ashley didn’t look as excited as her sister, even though she was. So she jumped on the bed anyway. Aiden and Spencer walked in the room; they could not hold in their laughter at the sight before them.
Spencer tried to speak through giggles. "Okay, you two are just like little kids." Kyla stopped jumping, Ashley did too. With their expressions serious now they said in unison, "When are we leaving?" Which made Spencer laugh more, she explained once again.
