The sun was shining brightly as Spencer sat in the quad during her lunch break eating with Aiden. The two had stayed friends even since they broke up a month ago. Ashley approached their table taking a seat as well right across from Ashley. The three had grown a weird sort of bond ever since that day between Ashley and Spencer in the auditorium, and for now they were all friends, nothing more.

“Hey Ash.” Aiden said drawing his attention away from Sherry’s ass.

“Hey Aiden. Hey Spence,” Ashley said looking directly at Spencer the whole time.

God I want her…why don’t I just kiss her right now? Oh yeah, I know why…because you wanted to be friends you damn idiot! Ashley thought to herself as she stared at the blonde who lowered her head with a blush. Ashley still wasn’t quite sure why she had told Spencer that she just wanted to be friends; it had just sort of slipped out. But over the past month Ashley was regretting ever saying it more and more.

“Well I’m off ladies,” Aiden said, noticing the look Ashley was giving Spencer. “I’ll see you guys this weekend though?”

“Uh actually Aiden, what are you doing tonight?” Spencer said finally looking up.

“Nothing special, what’s up?”

“My aunt and uncle are coming in from Ohio and my parents want to take them out on the town tonight. I’m stuck babysitting, and I was wondering if you wanted to help me out!” Spencer said with a cute smile.

“Yeah sounds like fun. What time?” Aiden said.

“Uhm, excuse me? Isn’t that usually a question for your best friend? You know, the girl?” Ashley said confused as to why she wasn’t asked first. The two just stared at her like she was crazy. “What? You know, girl, baby, babysitting, it all fits!” She said defending herself.

“Yeah but uh Ash…something tells me you don’t exactly have the best uh…nurturing skills,” Spencer said looking at Ashley with a look that made it seem like this was the most obvious thing in the entire world.

“Are you kidding? I love kids! And kids love me!” Ashley said.

Both Aiden and Spencer burst out into uncontrollable laughter, aggravating Ashley even more.
