The summer flew by In no time at alL. Adrian and Alice were already twO months old and Spencer & Ashley hated to leaVE theM even for one second. AshleY was able to keep the paparazzi away in the past, but now every time tHEy left the house someone was snApping photogRaphs of Their children.

THe DavIEs babies were a hot topic. It seemed everyone wanted to solve the mystery of which one Ashley carried. Ashley and Spencer were both bombarded with questions every time they leFt home, but they never revealed their secret.

"Spencer, did you see this?"

"See what?"

Spencer entered the living room feeding Adrian a bottle, while Ashley held a sleeping Alice. Spencer took a seat close to Ashley on their oversized suede couch and looked at the magazine in Ashley’s hand.

"Some magazines are offering a reward for proof of which baby I carried. It’s ridiculous."

Spencer laughed and shook her head.

"I really don’t see why it matters. They are both ours."

"I know that, but the media is dying to find out. Do you think we should tell them just so they will leave us alone?"

"If you want to do that you can, but I thought it was kind of fun keeping it a mystery."

"It is fun. You know I like to mess with people."

"I am very much aware."

Ashley looked over at her wife and son and smiled.

"Then we will keep it a secret. No one needs to know."

Spencer leaned over and placed a soft kiss on Ashley’s cheek before standing and pacing around the room trying to burp Adrian.

"Ash, I don’t want to leave you guys today."

"It’s your first day at your new job. You have to go."

"I know, but it will be the first time I have left you guys since they were born."

"We will be fine. If I need extra help I know a million people that would gladly come over. You know little rich Kyla doesn’t work. She has nothing better to do than to come help her niece and nephew."

"I know, but I will miss you three so much."

Ashley careful stood up and walked to Alice’s nursery with Spencer closely following. Ashley eased Alice into her pink and white bassinet and kissed the sleeping baby on her forehead. Ashley  turned to face Spencer and opened her arms to take Adrian. Spencer gently placed her son into his other mother’s arms.
