    Angelica:

Everything is set. Auntie Alice and Shane had told us everything we needed to know about my moms’ relationship. They told us about their promises and little poems and Jenny, Mike, Shay, and I played that to our advantage.

Shay used his mechanic skills to rig both of my moms’ cars to play their song in a loop. It would basically torture them.

Mike had set Momma B’s favorite flowers, chocolates, teddy bears, and poem in her office. Of course we’re not stupid enough to try to make Momma B think that Momma T sent them, she would only get more mad when she found out she didn’t. Mikey had left a note written in elegant calligraphy that said, "don’t forget why you’re together."

I set up a similar display for Momma T at her work except my note said, "don’t forget that love prevails all." Of course this is brilliant because these notes are the vows they said at their wedding.

We also knew that Momma B always had lunch with James at a restaurant near the gallery. So we set it up so that the waiter could give her a complimentary dish, and it will be Chicken Corbin Bleu, which was the first meal she and Momma T ever had together. And there will be another vow that read, "don’t forget the promises you made to her."

Momma T always ate in her office so a messenger was hired to send her the Chicken Corbin Bleu with the vow that said, "don’t forget that love is about forgiveness and understanding."

The last part of the vow is the most brilliant one. Shay and Mikey each waited by one of my moms’ cars and they were to open it with the spare key and place the velvet red rose along with the final part of the vow that said, "with this rose all problems will be forgotten and only love will prevail."

According to Aunt Shane and Aunt Alice, my moms had lived very dear to that last part and actually gave each other the rose on some occasions. I do remember one time Momma B walked into the kitchen and gave Momma T one, then they started kissing. I don’t know why, but then again I didn’t even realize they were fighting.
