A light bulb went off in Theresa’s head as she observed the scene before her. That’s why Rosanna and Bette were so well matched. They both had walked away from their soul mates. She didn’t need the WeHo dish or The Chart to see that the connection between the two women holding hands right now was literally off the charts.
She had never seen that connection that people used to say she and Rosanna possessed. People used to say that all it took was looking at them together to see that they were meant for one another. She saw it now.
She smiled, Ro’s mantra rung in her ears, Live for the moment, love…
It was a statement, an endearment and a command. Live, Love, Laugh.

Her ears were roaring the sudden shift of emotion taking a physical toll. One minute she was ready to pulverize Helena the next minute all she could feel was Tina’s hand in hers, her eyes communicating impossible things. There was no mistaking the love that was shining at her. It took her breath away.
Tina was in no better shape. She would always remember the way that Bette’s eyes grew wide as she took in Tina’s statement that yes she did speak for her. The surprise quickly turned to a search to see how much she really meant what she had said. Tina let all of her love for the woman before her shine in her eyes. She knew the minute Bette understood that she had completely forgiven her for the past. The minute she understood that she loved her without reservation, without reason.
Bette’s breath caught.
For Tina it was like the sun broke free of the clouds, and she basked in the warmth of the blinding light of pure joy she had not witnessed since she first told Bette she was with child.
Bette reached out with her other hand and touched the pad of her thumb to Tina’s lips. The action seemed to snap her out of her daze. The image of another touching those lips sprang to her mind.
“Helena, I think the time that you spent at Alice’s place did some irreparable harm to your brain. It is only for that reason that I am going to allow you to walk out of here alive. I am quite aware of the line that you crossed and if it wouldn’t distress some people I care about… Tina and our daughter in particular, as well as Alice and Leigh, you would be paying the price for not heeding my warning.”

Hey Kelika, I have just managed to catch up with all this week’s post. They have been extraordinary as the ghost of the past have been laid to rest. Bette and Theresa managed to find the common ground in their love for Rosanna. Helena got her ass kicked into touch. Glad she intervend as this was exactly the ticket that Bette and Tina needed to allow them to express their renewed love and understanding. Bette and Tina have always belonged to one another but their fears and interventions for others have failed to let them see the true depth of this connection. Finally Bette reacted to Helena’s kiss as a possessive lover unprepared to her soul mate man-handled. The strength of this reaction showed Tina everything that she needed to know. Suddenly the realization of their shared love was apparent to both of them as well as everyone else in the room. A case of actions speaking the truth. Now I can wait to see how they make it work and move towards their future together. Thank you so much for every wonderful word and slendid sentence. This story has covered the gamunt of human feelings; it has made me cry in sorrow and in humor, kept me on the edge of my seat, made me smile and hold my breath in anticipation. I can only hope these simple words transfer some of the joy that this tale has created. Your Loyal Fan.
