    A Dylena Story, Chapter 40. Dylan’s POV, very early Sunday morning.

    (Sunday 1:00am. Helena’s kitchen.)

    I tell her everything. Everything that I thought I knew about my life from the very first moment I can remember. I start with the very first memory I have, that only comes to me in my sleep. My dream, the first and only memory I have of my mother.

    ………“Stay here baby. Dylan, you stay here and be quiet. Promise me, Dylan. It’s very important. Promise me you will stay here and be as quiet as you can until I get back, okay baby.”

    Nodding to her. “I promise momma.” She’s crying, why is momma crying? I hate it when momma cries.

    “I have to go, but Momma will be back, I’ll be back, baby. I love you. When I’m not here, please baby always remember that I love you. I love you, Dylan and I‘ll be back for you, I promise baby.”

    She grabs me with both arms and pulls me close to her. She’s hugging me so hard. I want to tell her to let go, I can’t breath, but something stops me. I like this feeling. I feel so safe and loved in my momma’s arms.

    Then, the newspaper articles about the woman in Connecticut who was found murdered in her apartment.

    BODY OF WOMAN FOUND IN MAIN STREET APARTMENTS: The body of a as of yet unidentified woman was found in the Main Street Apartments yesterday at approximately 6:30 pm…As police investigated the call they came upon the dead body of a woman in one of the apartments. She had suffered two fatal gunshot wounds…

    BODY OF WOMAN FOUND AT MAIN STREET APARTMENTS IDENTIFIED: The body of the woman found dead in her apartment on 7/11/1976 has been identified. Mark Wilson, co-owner of the apartments with his wife Betty Wilson, identified the body as that of Karen Jacobs, one of their tenets…Police state they have confirmed that Ms. Jacobs did have a daughter, her whereabouts are unknown at this time…

    I ended with what I now know is the truth, the last article.

    4. Oh dear… As much as Dylan kind of flying off the handle I can see why should be hesistant about Helena’s actions. From Helena’s point of view I can see why she wanted to make love after all she’s found out. Sometimes the only way to convey what our heart feels is through an act so intimate and pure it truly speak volumes for its self. Things will get better. Misunderstandings can take so much away from a simple act of love and make it look like an act of pity. I am working on the update as we speak hopefully you will enjoy it.     5. I actually feel kinda sorry for dylan,but i think it’ll be best for her to forget about how fucked up her life was before, focus on how it could be with helena and stop getting defensive over every little thing. Nice post P.p.s :-D
