The next morning Carmen Wakes up to Shane long gone. But instead of an empty bed she wakes up with a note next to her pillow.

Carmen,

I didn’t want to wake you. You looked so peaceful I couldn’t bring myself to do it. I want to wake up every morning next to your beauty. I have a few things I need to take care of, I will see you tonight at Hit. I love you more and more each and every day. Hope you had sweet dreams.

Carmen gets out of bed and heads straight to the kitchen for a cup of coffee to find Shane had left another note with a plate of breakfast.

Jenny-“I never thought I would use domesticated and Shane in the same sentence, but you have done something to her that no one else could.”

Carmen jumped not expecting someone to still be home.

Grabbing her chest. “Jenny you scared the hell out of me.”

Jenny-“I am sorry Carmen.”

Carmen-“it is okay, I just didn’t expect anyone to be home.”

Jenny-“So how are things going with Shane if you don’t mind me asking.”

Carmen-“Well I cant say that I don’t have my doubts. But somehow some way she keeps finding new ways to amaze me.”

Jenny-“She is really trying you know that right.”

Carmen-“I do, I just….”

Jenny-“You know how she works. I understand that. She has been through a lot in her life Carmen. It takes a lot to damage a person to the extent she is.”

Carmen-“I know that. I really do.”

Carmen runs her hand through her hair and takes a seat.

Jenny-“She wouldn’t be with you if she didn’t think she could be faithful.”

Carmen-“Do you really think so?”

Jenny-“I don’t think so Carmen. I know so, I am asking you to just let yourself fall and let her catch you.”

Carmen-“Okay jenny you might have to elaborate.”

Jenny-“I know it might be hard with everything that she has done to you, but fully open your heart. Make yourself vulnerable and just let her be your savior. Granted she has caused the trust issues that you have. I have never seen her word so hard to fix something. And she has never been more herself than when she is with you.”
