"Okay, so this time I’m not jumping the gun right," Alice began. "You two are back together?"
"Well," Tina replied. "We’ve got some work to do, but yes, we’re on the road back to ‘together’."
"I didn’t realize you had broken up with Helena," Alice commented.
The look on Tina’s face foreshadowed what she was about to say. She wasn’t proud of the fact that she had essentially cheated with Bette, but she felt the fate of her relationship with Helena had been sealed when she witnessed how belligerent Helena had been with Winnie. She knew better than to keep the children longer than her allotted time, but did it seemingly out of spite. Anyone that would deprive a mother of her children, even based in grievances she thought valid, was not someone Tina wished to spend time with. She did have Helena to thank for making her realize the role Bette should be playing in the raising of their child though. Ironic that one of the few selfless things Helena did actually served to direct Tina back into a relationship with Bette.
"That’s actually what I have to take care of tonight," Tina replied sheepishly. "She should be here in an hour or so."
Alice couldn’t suppress the grin on her face.
"Please, Tina, can I stay and watch?" she pleaded. "You can break the news to her in the living room and I’ll be as quiet as a church mouse in the kitchen. Honest, you won’t even know I’m there."
Tina appeared to be contemplating the idea for a moment before she shook her head and replied.
"As entertaining as I’m sure you would find it, I don’t really think that’s very fair to Helena. I haven’t been all that fair to her as it is, and it’s time she learned the truth of what my feelings for Bette really are."
"That actually brings up an interesting point," Alice segued into the next topic of conversation. "What are your feelings for Bette? And not that I don’t care about the ultrasound, but how the hell did you two end up in bed when only a week ago you were waffling about letting her be involved with the baby at all?"

I’m so glad I don’t have a friend who’s as nosy as Alice. I love this version of the post-ultrasound events, jks, especially the first four installments. I feel bad for Helena in this chapter though and the way Tina inflicted pain on her in front of Alice is quite harsh and scary. I’m all for a reunited TiBette but how I wish those beautiful reconnecting moments took place post breakup. But I understand, it’s complicated. It’s up to the couple to untangle their mess. May they learn to forgive and love one another with a passion again as they await their baby’s birth. Thanks a lot for spoiling us with all your recent posts, jks! Please write on. Cheers! =)

Yes, we do have some of the most amazing writers on this site and we are so blessed to have them and to enjoy their work. This chapter Swimmie was just fantastic. Like Alicie I wished for a bucket of buttered popcorn for this show and what a show it was. It was wrong of Tina but I’m glad she did it in front of the most loose set of lips in the history of mankind. Thanks for posting this chapter. Loved it!!!

I really laugh and re-read this “If she knew she’d be staying, she would have made popcorn for this little show.” lmao!! I can picture Alice with her Cheshire grin when witnessing the conversation!
