    Angelica & The Artist – Chapter 16

    Chapter 16

Hearing a familiar voice call out her name, Angie quickly looked up to see Bette and Tina standing in the doorway. Lyndsay, not sure why Angie had stopped so suddenly looked in the same direction that Angie was now staring, only to see two women standing there staring directly at her and Angie each with a shocked look on their faces.

“Momma T? Momma B? What are you doing here?” asked Angelica as she quickly sat up and grabbed her shirt from the floor.

Stunned at the sight before them, Tina grabbed Bette’s hand and replied “We’ll wait in the kitchen while you, uh…….”

Bette didn’t move at first, until Tina tugged at her hand and said “Bette, kitchen…..now!”

“Uh yeah, good idea.” Responded Bette as they turned and quickly walked in the direction towards the kitchen.

Angie reached over to pick up Lyndsay’s sweater and handed it to her. Seeing the look of horror on her face, she was not sure what to do or to say other than “I’m so sorry about that.”

Lyndsay in turn was white as a sheet and looked like she had just seen a ghost. She quickly pulled her sweater back on and looked at Angie in total disbelief.

“Oh my God Ang. I can’t believe this is happening. What are your Mom’s doing here? I thought they lived in Los Angeles?”

“They do, and I have no idea why they are here. I wasn’t expecting them until Friday.”

    “Today is only Wednesday.

    “I know.”

Quickly standing up, Lyndsay felt so embarrassed and headed directly for the door.

Confused, Angie followed her and asked where she was going. The response came back that she was embarrassed, and needed to leave. Angie quickly made her way to the door and stood in front of Lyndsay.

“It’s ok. You don’t have to leave. Trust me. We were not doing anything that they have not seen before.” Laughing now, Angie shook her head and continued “in fact the stories I could tell you…”

Lyndsay in turn did not see the humour in the predicament she now found herself in.

“Ang, it’s not funny. We were just about to……”

Angie laughed, “Trust me. I know what we were about to do. It’s OK, I promise. Come and meet them, it will be okay.”

    1. Don’t get me wrong I was so happy to see the update, but its too short, I need more. Ang and Lyndsay are too cute. Just think how much more embarrassed Lyndsay would have been if it had been a few minutes later. I hope Lyndsay doesn’t run from Ang. Bette and TIna are gonna love this.

    2. oh my, will they ever give her a hard time about this. And, of course, she can dish it right back to them. I hope Ang and Lynds get a chance to be intimate again and very soon before Lynds has to leave the city, they need that connection. We know that Bette was the cause of all this, getting antsy about her baby girl. Tina, I’m sure tried to dissuade Bette from this and she just would not listen as she has done many times before. Great chapter. PPS

    3. Another wonderful update, Taz! I hope you let us hear Angelica’s speech to her mother’s about poor timing. That would be hysterical to see those two squirm a bit and to hear Bette trying to defend her idea. I’m with Dainty – Ang and Lynds need to have a lot of time to connect at a deeper level now that they have recognized and spoken their love for one another.

    4. Hehehe Awww Tazzie, this was just hilarious! Well, at least one of the 3 scenarios we pictured in our mind came to light. We are glad that Angie calmed Lindsay in order for her to meet Bette & Tina. We also liked Angie’s suggestion to take one step at a time, instead of rushing anything. It is the best way to go along with this new love feeling that has suprised both. They can make future plans, once they figure out where they want to take their relationship. There are still many issues to be discussed and we are sure that now that Angie was left alone with her Moms, these will be touched. Bette will be very eager to speak her mind, that is for sure. Tina will be the right mediator here. Thanks for such a great update, Tazzie. PPS Lucero & Marsha (JC’s Salsa Aunties)

    5. Taz this is really really getting good. In almost every other story where Bette and Tina got caught Bette was well should we say less than nice to whom ever caught them. Is Ang going to be that way? I hope Lyndsay and Angie have time to spend alone. Thank you, Md

    6. Tazzie!!!!! I LOVE IT! I was SOOOOO happy to see that Angie told Lyndsay she loved her too. YAY!!!! The timing of each and every chapter is perfecto! I love the reactions of everyone, as they were so spot on with how things really would be in life. Thanks Taz! Oh…what do you think of Waterford? * wink * Talk to you soon. Hi to P. xo

    7. Very NICE update Taz. I think that both B&T were worried about Angie afte her last visit home and both decided to come early to support her. They are not use to see their baby in love. I am extremely happy for Angie and Lyndsey as I am sure that B&T will be as well. PPS:o).
