Pink was amazing, she rocked the Planet with songs from her new album. People danced, sang and cheered…. The bar was 10 deep. Every person had a smile upon their face, and a drink in their hand.

Kit cast her eyes over her business, feeling a warm glow begin from the tips of her toes, and flow right up to the top of her head….: (I have finally done it, I just wish daddy was alive to see this…)

Bette came up behind her sister, and placed a slender hand upon her siblings shoulder: “Hey Kit, how you doing?”

Kit turned to face her sister, tears in her eyes and a huge smile on her face: “oh Bette, this Is more than I ever imagined it to be, do you think daddy would be proud?”

Bette: “Of course he would be Kit, look at this place……..And getting Pink to play here too… Kit you really have hit the big time.”

Kit smiled: “I’d better get back over to the stage, Pink is coming to the end of her set….Do you want to meet her?”

Bette smiled: “ I would love to”

Kit: “ ok go get Tina, and join me over there”

Bette walked over to Tina, she was still sitting with Alice, Shane and Dana..

Bette: “ Tina, Kit wants to know if you want to meet Pink?”

Tina jumped up of the chair, and stumbled forward: “ you serious? I get to meet the Pink?”

Bette hooked an arm through Tina’s: “come with me and you will”

As they walked away, Bette looked back over her shoulder towards her friends, they were all smiling and giving her the thumbs up! Bette smiled..

Over at the stage, Pink had finished her set, and was standing to one side surrounded by body guards, she was signing autographs for a few selected fans.

Kit was there too, beaming from ear to ear.

Bette could feel Tina start to shake, so stroked her hand: “It’ll be fine, just be cool”

Tina just nodded unable to speak.

Kit touched Pink’s elbow: “I have a couple of people I would love you to meet before you rush off”

Pink:” sure, I’d love to”

Kit: “ this is my baby sister Bette Porter”
