Another beginning……..

Bette was on the phone to a very upset and frustrated Kit.

Bette: “Look Kit, I’ll call the girls, we’ll come down to the Planet, and I’m sure between us we can think of something!”
Kit: “Ok baby sis, I’m real sorry about this, I am beginning to regret buying the place.”
Bette: “It was one of your better idea’s, so stop stressing, chill out and we’ll be there soon.”
Bette hung up the phone, and called Shane, Dana and Alice. Surely between them they could find a solution.
She picked up her keys and bag, and shot out of the door. Getting in her car (a jet black SAAB convertible) she gunned it to the Planet.

Kit had recently purchased the Planet from Marina. Her singing career finally off the floor after so many years, she decided to make an investment for her future.
The only trouble was the Planet had become a little rundown and dated. Kit wanted to give it a new lease of life. She had decided to keep it as the hip coffee shop it was during the day, but in the evenings it would become a night club, that fellow artists could visit and perform whilst in town.
Now although everybody had agreed this was a fabulous idea. Kit was having trouble finding a property developer with the vision to pull it off. So far she had seen nine different people, and not one of them had taken notice of her ideas, or how she had envisaged the Planet when complete.

Bette arrived at the Planet to find Kit sobbing in her coffee.
Bette:” Hey Kit, come on darling” pulling her sister into a warm embrace. “Look I’m here now” she continued to stroke and pat her sister’s back “The girls will be here soon ok. I’m sorry I didn’t step into help sooner. But I promise we’ll get this sorted”

Bette always felt motherly towards Kit, even though Kit was ten years her senior. Being on the road in the early years, Kit had developed a drinking problem. Even though she was sober now, she still found stressful and problematic situations difficult to deal with. So that’s where Bette come’s in, to give her a helping hand and guide her in the right direction. This was one of those situations.
