    Tina walks the line.

    “Tina?”

     

    We broke apart and I stood there dumbfounded, staring at the person who had just walked out the elevator.

     

    It was Bette.

    Bette was starring at me, her forehead was wrinkled in a frown.

     

    “Bette,” I managed to say after a few seconds passed, “I…I…”

     

    “Hey,” Lara said walking forward, extending her hand, “You must be Bette? Tina’s told me so much about you. I’m Lara, Lara Perkins. I work with Tina in the kitchen.”

     

    I let out a breath of grateful relief, Lara had saved my skin but I knew now was not a good time to thank her. A part of my thoughts were still stuck on our embrace, there was a momentarily feeling of…I didn’t quite know what it was. But when she held me, it was as if there was a connection between us, something deeper than I could comprehend. I buried the thoughts at the back of my mind and smiled.

     

    “Lara, nice to meet you,” Bette replied, giving Lara’s hand a firm shake, “Nice to see that, T’s found a friend.”

     

    I couldn’t quite make it out, but did I detect a hint of sarcasm?

     

    “Well, I think I’ll be calling it a night,” Lara added, “I’ll see you tomorrow morning, Tina.”

     

    Turning to the both of us, she smiled, “Good night guys.”

     

    As she disappeared in the direction of the elevators, I took Bette’s hand in mine, pulling her towards me and giving her a hug, “I missed you,” I whispered, “Did you just get back?”

     

    “No, I got back a couple hours ago,” Bette replied, “I went home to set my luggage down before I came over.”

     

    “Have you eaten?” I asked, opening the door to my suite and inviting her in, “We just went for dinner; tried this place called Marmalade Pantry down the road.”

     

    “I had dinner earlier,” Bette said with a smile, shutting the door behind her, before moving over to me and wrapping her arms around my waist, “I want to place a kiss on those lips that I have missed so dearly.”

     

    The moment Bette’s lips met mine, I felt my heart melt. Any doubts, paranoia or questions I had during the last few hours disappeared, all that mattered was that she was here with me now. She slipped her tongue into my mouth as I used my tongue to massage hers gently. Her hands move underneath my top as I tingled with aroused pleasure to her light touch on my skin; I felt my womanly fluid seep onto my skin just beneath my jeans.

    8. Lara, Lara, Lara…what on earth is she doing? Poor Tina’s confused already and she’s making it worse. Bette seemed jealous with her lack of understanding of Tina’s confusion. I hope Tina goes after Bette…and soon.

    10. i must say i was a bit surprised at bette’s reaction to tina.. perhaps it was just the feelings of seeing her with lara that came out when tina pushed her away… but this thing with lara… really dynamic situation here…

    11. WOW!!! Tina needs to step back and really think about what she is doing. Lara is going after Tina I think. Now was Bette still there and saw Tina and Lara kissing? I am a B&T fan to the end. So I hope Tina makes the right choice. Thanks Love This!!!!

    13. Mmmm…. I don’t know if I should be worried, should I?Well points to Tina for resisting Bette, I would not be able to AT ALL!!But why would she want to??? And no Lara is not her Soulmate Bette is. They are Tibette after all.Well they should sort out their issues soon.. don’t ya think Euni???
