Summary of the previous chapter: Tina confesses to Bette. Bette asks for her help with revenge.

Bette continues to spend most of her time during the day in her office. The difference is that she is now coming out of the office to talk to Tina. Bette is making the time to tell Tina that she is beautiful. They havent yet returned to a physical relationship, but they are rebuilding the emotional one.

Tina understands that Bette needs some space and she accepts that. Instead of staring at the office door being angry, she spends her time doing some things that she wants to do. Tina realizes that it was her choice to empty her life and live vicariously through Bette and her friends only to be angry with them when they left her at the Planet to live their lives.

Bette and Tina go together to take Mona for her walks. The dog is becoming quite good at walking on a leash. Both Bette and Tina have fallen madly in love with the bundle of fur who has begun sleeping at the foot of their bed, her dog crate discarded and empty.

It is approximately one month after Bette found Tina with Helena that she comes out of the office and asks Tina to look at a file which includes Bettes revenge against Helena.

T, you have to promise me, absolutely swear to me that you will be totally honest.

I will, Bette.

Tina begins to examine Bettes file. She continues doing so through the night and into the next morning. Bette says nothing, waiting for Tina to come to her with an opinion.

Tina comes to Bette with the file. Im in total shock, Bette, in all of these years together, I never would have imagined you have this in you.
