Linda: I have to ask you… why were you staring at Tina…
Bette: You picked up on it too I see… you may say I’m crazy… but she is getting bigger…
Linda: Bette she is not even 1 month along… and I think she would kill you if you said that to her…
Bette: I mean in certain places…
Linda: Ooooooooo… well I guess if she was you would know…
Bette: But tonight is the first time I noticed it…
Linda: (Smiling)… Good night Bette…
Bette: Good night mom…

Morning came and they quickly showered and dressed…
Bette: Mom if you want you can go with Tina to “The Planet” for breakfast…
Linda: No you go… I’ll let Candace in… this way she doesn’t know your home…
Bette and Tina leave and soon they were all enjoying breakfast… All of a sudden… Alice sits up and all eyes moved to the door.. In walked Candace… she looked around and when she spotted Tina… she smiled… walked to the counter and ordered…
Bette moved her arm around Tina and away from the door… away from Candace’s stare…
Tina: I think I’m going to lose my breakfast…
Bette: I hope you really don’t mean that baby…
Tina: (Smiling)… sorry… but if she looks at me again…
Bette: (Looking around)… Where’s Lisa…
Shane: Not to worry I’m going to wait for her outside…
Tina: Shane, don’t let her come in… I’ll come out to her…
Bette: Let’s go out the back door…
Tina: NO… I’m not going to hide… this is ridiculous…
As Candace makes her way to their table… Tina sees this… so she gets up… sits on Bette’s lap as her lips crash into Bette’s… Bette pulls her closer, as her arms hold on tight… and for once Alice doesn’t say a word…
Dana: (In a loud voice)… See… this is what love is all about…
Alice: (Picking up on Dana’s lead)… You are so right… as she looks around and shakes her head and soon others are also shaking their heads…
Dana: Dammmmmmmmm I got to find a girl friend…
Candace just watches… and so does the rest of the morning crowd…
Tina: I’ll see you later babe… you have a good day…
Bette: You too… call me when you get to work…
Tina: Of course… later babe… have a good day ladies…
Tina gets up and walks right past Candace… and out the door… Candace walks out after her…
Bette wanted to follow…
Alice: Leave her Bette… let Tina handle this… believe me if she needs you… we all will know…
OUTSIDE…
Candace: Hey Tina… wait up babe…

I find it really funny that you as a straight can see two women in a committed loving relationship but IC can’t! sometimes I think the show needs to be saved from her. anywho, you are one the most prolific talented writers on this site and I appreciated you taking the time to share your story.
