    I walked into the Planet wishing I could have some alone time with Kit and wishing I wouldn’t bump into anyone I know but lucky me Shane and Dana were there; all drinking coffee.

     

    Shane waved at me as I walked in.  Dana turned around and said hey as Alice sat herself down while signalling me to go over.  I waved back and pointed at Kit’s office hoping they’d get the hint that I wanted to see Kit first. 

     

    Alice rolled her eyes, stood up and walked my way.

     

    Oh well, here she comes.

     

    Alice:  Bette!  You’re so anti social.  Come sit with us for a few minutes!  Don’t worry Kit has all day to talk to ya!

     

    Bette:  I know but I need to see her.

     

    Alice:  What’s the rush?  And where’s Mel?

     

    Bette:  Aaah she’ tired she’s taking a nap at the hotel as we speak.

     

    Alice:  Aw ok come.

     

    Alice pulled my hand and we both walked toward the table.

     

    Bette:  Hey guys How’s everyone doing?

     

    Shane:  Good here. 

     

    Dana:  Hey Bette.  I heard Mel’s given u a surprise visit huh? 

     

    Bette:  Yeah yeah she did.

     

    Dana:  So where is that Mel then?

     

    Bette:  She’s resting.  Taking a nap back at the hotel.  Hey where’s Lara?

     

    Dana:  Oh she’ll be here soon I think 

     

    Bette:  Oh right that’s great to hear I haven’t seen her. 

     

    Shane:  Hey Bette do u want anything to drink?

     

    Bette:  Oh no it’s ok I’m good.  I’m here to see Kit.  Is she in her office?

     

    Alice:  yeah she is.  But get your butt here once you’re done ok?  We probably won’t see u much now that Mel’s here.

     

    Bette:  Haha yeah I promise I will.  Excuse me girls

     

    I made my way to Kit’s office and give her door a little knock before entering.

     

    Come in, I heard her say. 

     

    I entered the room and found Kit on the phone.

     

    Kit smiled and signalled me to sit down and give her a few minutes.

     

    Kit:  Yeah I understand that so will I see your men sending the supplies early tomorrow morning?  (pause)  uh huh (pause)  right  (pause)  ok then thanks.
