Collision Course 4.82
Two weeks later….
“Slow down there, woman,” laughed Lara as Shane gently pushed her against the door of her office and ravished her neck, making Lara sigh hotly. Giving in for a moment, Lara ran her skillful fingers through Shane’s hair as Shane buried her face in Lara’s neck. Shane’s carnal desires were mounting at an exponential rate and Lara wasn’t sure if she could keep up. Lara had jokingly offered to go buy Shane some toys; ones that plugged into the wall, since the woman could outlast virtually any battery, Lara was sure.
“I’ve been waiting all day for you, and you are telling me to wait some more. I’m hormonal, I can’t wait, don’t make me wait, please?” begged Shane. Her nimble hands were already finding their way into Lara’s loose pants, and tugging at the drawstrings, as she pressed Lara against the cool door.
“You can wait until we get upstairs, or to your place, what is with you?” laughed Lara, playfully pushing Shane away. She actually didn’t mind Shane’s horniness; in fact, it pretty much matched Lara’s. Truth be told, they were a couple of very gay women who enjoyed sex, and enjoy it often they did.
“I’m hormonal,” repeated Shane, resting her head against Lara’s shoulder. Kissing it gently, and tasting the sweetness of her flesh, Shane groaned almost uncontrollably. She was finding herself wanting Lara more and more. Looking at other women wasn’t as pleasing as it had been before, they seemed to pale in comparison to the one woman who wanted to be with her.
“How was your visit with Dr. Montgomery?” asked Lara with a small smile. She had regretted that she couldn’t go with Shane, but work had come first. Next time, she promised herself, she’d make more of an effort to be there, to see the ultra sound, and hear the babies’ heartbeats. She was trying to change the subject at hand, and Shane didn’t look like she wanted it change, but she answered nonetheless.
“Everything is fine, and, we’re having a boy and a girl,” grinned Shane brightly. Then she paled, “I said we….”
Lara nodded, “That you did.”

Damn woman! It took me a while to catch up on this, but what can I say? You had me a bit concerned there. I thought Spence was in for it!!! EEEEEK! B&T can be SO complext and emotionally driven. I just wish they could learn from yesterday, live for today, and look towards tomorrow together. * sigh * You are deserving of every nomination and/or award you get, so you will have to just be gracious. * arching brow * Oh AND post again soon! ooh, Spencer’s gone all Wonder Woman. That was a seriously cool rescue. Like mother, like daughter, eh? Shane and Lara and moving at mach speed, aren’t they? I see Al + Ro ain’t dead yet… And I’m only gonna believe Bette and Tina are gonna happen after some “I do”s are exchanged. Til then, I’m not holding my breath… O.o Glad you’re enjoying the new job! Awesome chapter. You had me wondering, for a long minute there, if the rogue had reappeared to reduce the number of characters again. Spencer is definitely her mother’s child.
Spencer’s rescue was way too cool I always love a ledge jumping scene (timing is everything). Wuz up w/ that porch? I’m sure Spencer had it blocked off or maybe there was a construction sign, why the hell were those kids on it? (O.K. kids will be kids – I know) Did Spence get the energy boost from Angelica. WOW! I can’t believe Alice kept her mouth shut about Nat, there’s a first for everything. Glad the job’s FABU! P.S Thanks for the looong post.
Wow!! What a great chapter! I couldn’t read fast enough I was so scared for Shay and Spencer! This chapter covered so much different ground, it truly had it all. I can’t decide if you are teasing me or not with Bette and Tina, so I will continue to hope…but won’t hold my breath! LOL You are one hell of a storyteller, so just deal with the nomination. Take it for what it is and then hurry up and write the next chapter!! ;-)
Glad you like your new job. I was about to get on my Broom Express and fly to Maine if Spencer had gotten hurt. She is a wise kid, to wise. I believe that Jo will be proud of her also after killing her. Bette and Tina needs to get their sh&t together and start living in the future instead of the past. I’ve been waiting impatiently for your next post and was so happy to be rewarded with this chapter. Loving Spencer and her interaction with the gang… like how she’s giving fate a helpful little push with B&T… though I’m not certain you aren’t still teasing with their reconciliation.
