    Days Without You (Part 19)

"Tina," Bette started, tilting her head to the side with a grin, "More wine darling?"

Tina chuckled at Bette’s behavior, shaking her head before whispering, "More? Bette, I’m a cheap drunk."

"We’ll have more wine," Bette indicated loudly to Ullie, their waiter, as she winked at Tina. "Lots more."

He left to give them more time with the menus while Tina kicked her gently under the table.

"Bette, I don’t need to be drunk to have sex with you." Tina laughed, "And stop embarrassing me." She whined, pretending to hide her face.

"Hey, a little wine might help … loosen those inhibitions …" Bette mumbled into her drink before setting it down again and looking into Tina’s eyes. "And I wouldn’t dare embarrass you in this beautiful restaurant, T."

"Then stop flirting with me like that in front of the waiter!" Tina laughed. "Could it be any more obvious?"

Just as Tina finished speaking, the waiter came back again. "Need any more time?" He chirped.

"Well, I already know what I want," Bette smiled, wriggling her eyebrows at Tina.

Tina frowned into her menu, trying not to laugh.

The waiter continued, completely confused. "Okay, well what have you decided on?"

"I will have …" Tina started, trying to save the waiter from an even more awkward conversation. "I’ll have the grilled spring chicken please."

"Wonderful choice." Ullie declared, nodding with a smile before turning back to Bette. "And for you, ma’am?"

"Well, I think I’ll go with the lamb chop, thank you." Bette replied, smiling up at the waiter before turning her full attention to Tina.

"Great," He replied cheerfully, taking their menus and then his exit.

"That wasn’t so embarrassing, was it?" Bette smirked.

"You are so terrible," Tina chuckled, settling in her seat. She took a deep breath and re-adjusted her napkin in her lap. "Bette, I love just sitting and eating with you."

"I am pretty entertaining," Bette grinned, knowing her own cheekiness.

    "Bette," Tina warned.

"Sorry," Bette chuckled to herself. "I know exactly what you mean, Tina. I love having quality time alone too." She reached over the table and took Tina’s hand in hers.

"Thanks for coming with me," Tina smiled, absolutely glowing with happiness.

"I wouldn’t miss it for the world." Bette smiled back, illuminated by Tina’s mood.

Tina took another sip of her wine, her mouth still on the rim of the glass as Bette spoke.

    2. Yey!!! I just caught up =) Lets see them compete. My money is on Bette, she will win either way. Why is Tina picking fights?? Maybe I’m biased ’cause I’m all for Bette =P Love it. biissexi you’re writing pretty fast! I’m glad though ;)

    3. Seeing them like this really make me happy and warm my heart, it seems that they are dating still. Thanks my dear lovely Cami, you are the best and I admire and appreciate your commitment and your regular shout outs they really makes us leave these comments to tell you how good we find your chapters to be. Love

    4. I just woke up! and guess what I see? Another chapter of your story! That’s a great feeling. Now I can start my day! ;-) Haha I like the way you write, it’s very fun and really close to what we watch on the real show. I mean the characters, I really can imagine them like that, in a restaurant for example. Can’t wait for the next part. We’ll see what happens in that restaurant. Something good I hope! xx

    5. If they were going to have a drinking game they should have stayed home with the Joe Sixpacks and watched the VP debate parody on Saturday Night Live: “Maverick!”
