DIARY OF A STUDENT – CHAPTER NINE

Dear Diary,

It’s my birthday. I’m 18! I’m at the clinic. I received my best gift today…

__05.20AM, 28 February 2011, Bette’s room_________________________________

Cell: Beeeeeeeeeeep, beeeeeeeeeeeeeep!

B: Uhrrrgg

She took her cell and opened the text message she just received.

FROM: <3 TINA <3

Water just broke. Help!

Bette jumped out of bed and jumped in the clothes she had already laying there for when something like this would happen. She ran down the stairs took her dad’s key’s and jumped in his car she raced in the streets of Leuven. In the record time of 1’22” she was in the parking lot of the school she raced inside. The woman after the desk wanted to stop her but Bette didn’t listen. She ran to room 7 and opened the door. Tina was laying on top of her bed. Bette stepped to the bed.

B: Are you in pain.

T: Yes.

B: Okay, I’m going to the room next door and ask Tini (the girl had a wheelchair) for her wheelchair.

Bette walked to the room and asked for the chair. She walked back in the room and lifted Tina in the thing. Tina had put on a new pair of pants that were clean. Bette rolled Tina out of the School an into her car. She put the chair into the back of her car and they took off.

T: AAAAAAAAAAAH. Holy shit!

B: It’s going to be all right. Keep breathing.

T: Off course I keep breathing!

Tina told Bette that she might be mean to her but that Bette had to keep in mind that the blonde loved her and that it was just said in pain.

B: Okay… we are almost at the hospital.

Bette lifted Tina out of her car and into the wheelchair. They raced inside and Bette walked over to the desk. She talked to the lady. When she was done a few nurses helped Tina into a room to wait for the doctor.

B: Are you all right, sweetheart?

T: It hurts but its okay

The doctor entered the room.

D: Hello, everything all right?

T: I’m in pain but its okay.
