    Don’t run, walk-9

Alice walked up to the door of Bettes house the following morning and tried the handle. Locked. DAMN! Now if I was Bette where would I keep a spare key?!? Probably up my arse where it belongs but that wouldnt be much help. How about under she thought, while she lifted up the loose brick on her front step. Jackpot. And she let herself in. Wanting to clearly make her presence known she yelled,
PORTER? WHERE ARE YOU?!? IF YOUR NOT HERE ILL JUST HAVE TO KILL YOU LATER INSTEAD. ILL JUST HAVE TO MAKE IT MORE PAINFUL!

Bette slowly began to open her eyes and was immediately hit with a painful hangover. When her eyes began to focus she realised she was on her bedroom floor. Now why did I sleep here? Surely I would have been more comfortable in my bed. Man I cant remember a thing from last night at all. I hope I didnt make too big of a fool of myself. I suppose Alice will inform me either way. Being in too much pain to move she decided just to remain lying on the floor for a while. Or at least until the room was stood still.

Alice headed over to Bettes bedroom and opened the door. She was about to shout to wake Bette up but instead was left stood with her jaw hitting the ground. Am I dreaming here? Well if I am is the best one Ive had in a while. Someone must really like me up there! Now if only I knew where Bette was, it would give my information a bit more backbone and a few more believability points.

After hearing the door open Bette became rooted to the spot. Oh no! Did I bring someone home with me last night? Come on Bette. THINK. You must be able to remember something! She racked her brain for a few more moments but the anticipation was killing her. She had to know who was in her room. She slowly began to stand up.

Alice! she gasped. What are you doing here? Come to gossip about what I got up to last night? Either Alice hadnt heard a word Bette had said or she was still in too much shock but she didnt reply.
Alice? You feeling ok? When she still didnt reply, Bette suddenly saw the expression on Alices face and began to follow her stare.

WHAT THE?!? yelled Bette as she too saw what Alice was seeing. This made Alice jump out of her trance like state and begun laughing as loud as she could and disturbing what was on the bed.

Tina stretched out her arm to try and turn off her screeching alarm clock and failed miserably. She rolled over and threw the pillow over her face. Suppose Ill just have to get up then. Wait. What day is it? Man, last night must have been one ***** of a wicked party! I dont remember a thing!

Tina? she heard someone say. She jumped a little at the sound, not expecting someone to be near her. Oh no! Im being robbed! What do I do? Just pretend youre still asleep and they will just let you be. Dont be silly girl. You cant do that. They will nick everything. And with that she stood up and dove in the direction she had heard the voice, collapsing to the floor with her robber. She could then hear someone beginning to giggle in the background.

She just couldnt keep it in anymore so Bette just burst out laughing. Sooo wish Id had a video camera for that! Could have just earned myself 250 big ones!

Tina turned her head to see who was laughing at her and got a shock.
Bette? What are you doing here? When she didnt get a reply she then noticed her surroundings. No wait. Scratch that. What am I doing here?
Good question, came the muffled reply from somewhere beneath Tina. She move slightly, changing her position so she could see who she was holding.
    Alice? she gasped.
Hey! How are you doing? Tina?
    Yeah?
Breathing is starting to become an issue here.
Alice I am sooo sorry. Here, let me help you. She said whilst offering her hand down to her.

All three became silent and kept changing glances between each other.
    Sooo started Bette.
Maybe we should talk about this. Continued Alice.
I dont remember anything spoke both Bette and Tina who turned to look at each other, trying to read whether they were both telling the truth.
Ok then. So hows about we go through last night step by step and see if we can jog any of your memory? Suggested Alice as she led them both to separate ends of the bed, placing herself directly in the middle. After everyone was comfortable, Alice grabbed her notebook and whipped out a pen.
    Ok. Im ready. Lets go.
