Bette,
It sounds as if you have done a lot of soul searching. I think that your partner is doing likewise. I was commenting this morning about the stupid answers my students put on their exams and she responded that stupidity is sometimes a two-way street. So, either she is saying that I am a lousy professor or, she is beginning to think about where your relationship took a nose dive.

Bette,
We just finished dinner and I am letting the dishes soak before I wash them. I had to fight with your woman to get her to agree to let me wash the dishes. I dont envy you fighting with her.
Anyway, I told her that I was going to email you to let you know that she got the flowers. She said to tell you that she hopes you are remembering to eat and arent working too hard. She also said to tell you that the flowers were lovely.

I decided that it was not fair to ask Chris to convey a message for me. Therefore, Ive logged in to her email to send you a note.
Thank you for the flowers, they were beautiful. You always knew how to order the best arrangements.
I have been thinking of you also, though I would be lying if I said that my thoughts were entirely positive. You destroyed something very important to me, Bette. There are no words to describe the hurt you have made me feel. Right now, I cannot see beyond my anger. Please, if you respect me, give me time.

Saying Im sorry is inadequate and I know that. I would gladly exchange half of my life, if I could undo what I have done.
All that I can do is beg your forgiveness and hope that the love we have shared is sufficient to overcome what I have done.

I like this story. The e-mails are great…and unlike me when I was writing the e-mails in my first story…you don’t seem to be struggling at all! Well done…thanks!
At least Tina E-Mail Bette and thanks her for the flowers. I believe any one that has been PG, remembers beening tired,sleepy. and wanting crazy things to eat. mine was Olives. Love this. Tina can hold a grudge wow a wholw year. Thanks so much.

It amazing how Bette is getting to know more about Tina in a few dozen emails that she never knew in 7 years living with her…crazy how we don’t get to know the little things in life when we’re too busy running around and stressing about the little things…in love with how you are telling this story!!!
