She drove up to the club and found a parking spot and sat there for a second and took a deep breath. As she got out, she grabbed her gear and headed into the club. She quickly spotted Johnathan and walked to where he was sitting and sat across from him.

“Looking good Dana, did you run this morning,” he asked as she picked up the menu.

“As a matter of fact, I did.”

“Good girl. Well, in about an hour I want you to warm up with Dominic, because the Subaru people want to watch you practice. They’re looking for a pro athlete to sponsor, and to feature in numerous ads. So eat something, might I suggest the fresh garden salad and a glass of water?”

“Right,” Dana said and ordered. After about ten minutes the waiter brought out Johnathan’s sandwich and then sat a perfectly portioned, deliciously prepared plate in front of me.

“Um, I didn’t order this,” she said puzzled, “what is it?”

“The chef’s special, curried turkey cutlet with dried apricots, only two hundred and fifty calories.”

“Huh,” she said as she looked towards the kitchen. Her jaw dropped as she looked at the red headed beauty. Her hair was perfectly tucked away in her chef’s hat that matched perfectly with her uniform. She looked damn sexy.

“Well, that’s nice,” Johnathan said, “now eat up.”

“Tell her thank you,” she said. Johnathan started talking about some things, but Dana wasn’t really paying attention. Her thoughts went to the red head, what had she done to her to be treated so famously, she couldn’t concentrate properly.

    “That sound like a plan?”

    “Huh, what?”

    “Were you paying attention?”

“Um, kind of, sorry, I was thinking about the Subaru thing. I’m just so nervous.”

“Come on Dana, you’ve played in a huge tournament before.”

“Yeah, but I’m getting a major, world wide, sponsor. Not just these local sponsors. It’s nerve racking. My face….will be everywhere!”

“Alright, calm down. Look all you have to do is have a superb practice today. They’re going to record it and review it and if they like you, they’ll come down and watch another practice and discuss your contract.”
