Dana pulled up outside Laras apartment and got out. She made her way up to the door, while giving herself the once over. Wearing a form fitting black suit and red button up with her hair loose around her shoulders, Dana hoped the razzing from Alice would be minimal. She let herself into Laras apartment and looked around.
Lara? Are you ready to go? She asked, walking into the living room. She glanced down the hall as Lara came out of her room in a short, sleek, light aqua coloured dress with her hair swept up into a bun. Dana was floored for a moment, a mix of pride and fear coursing through her body. Pride in the fact that the beautiful chef was with her and fear that something tonight would go wrong. Lara walked to her, putting in her earrings, she couldnt help but grin at the reaction from Dana.
Wow Dana You look amazing. Lara said as she leaned down to kiss Dana lightly. Dana stuttered, trying to form a sentence. Lara Oh *****
*****? Lara made a face and looked down at herself. I thought I looked pretty good She teased.
Oh you do! I mean Oh ***** Dana piled her face up, watching Lara. You look Wow. Lara laughed and kissed Dana deeply, a hand moving to the back of her neck. Come on. We should get going.

Alice stood in front of a painting. She squinted her eyes and stared for a long moment at it, for the life of her she could not figure out what was going on in it It was like some sort of flesh and leather magic eye picture, the kind where you stare and eventually see the image when you cross your eyes. Shane stopped and stood beside her, she was glum, since the proverbial ***** had hit the fan with Cherie that afternoon. She tried to avoid the inevitable Alice questioning period by looking at the painting and grinning her ***** grin.
Not bad Not bad at all. She gave a nod.
What the *****! How come everyone understands this but me? Alice said loudly, drawing attention from a few passer-bys. Shane pointed as she spoke.
Guy one Guy two Guy three and what I think is a girl. Shane sipped her drink.
Oh my god! Theyre stuffing her like a turkey! Alice exclaimed and Shane started to choke. The two attracted even more attention at this point. Dana gave Shane a funny look, stopping next to her and looking at the picture. Wow! Shes a talented girl. Lara laughed and gave her hand a squeeze. Alice made a face, even innocent Dana could understand the picture. Tina walked up and stood between Shane and Dana.
I need a second opinion. She said quietly. Lara and Shane come with me. She motioned them to follow. Dana was to nave and Alice was to flighty to help confirm anything.

Left alone Dana leaned into Alice.
See? No sundress.
I noticed. Looking pretty crispy Dana. Alice grinned and Dana shook her head, knowing Alice would never let that one go.
Hey Al Thanks for bringing Lara back into my life. I owe you. Dana said, glancing at Alice. Alice glanced back and let her eyes linger on Danas.
Thats what Im here for Making the love connection. Alice grinned a forced grin. Okay Truth be told, she sort of had this crush on Dana. Who couldnt? she was sweet, ***** and so dorky it was cute. Shed thought back to the pact and decided the best way to get Dana away from Tonya and have her be happy about it was Lara. Lara was great, Alice always liked her and she was saddened at the devastation that the break up caused Dana. All she ever wanted was for Dana to be happy.

I dont know T Id like to say I dont see it but check out the eye contact. Lingering. The way they smile and laugh as they talk. Shane narrowed her eyes.
I hope you guys are wrong. Lara spoke quietly as she watched Bette and Candace. But it looks fishy to me too. She glanced to Tina. Sorry.
No its okay nothing is confirmed yet Ill watch them for awhile before I make any moves towards confronting Bette.

Lara stood next to Dana.
What was that about? She asked Shane.
Tinas suspicious of Bette and the carpenter. Shane sighed and rubbed the back of her head. You guys dont think Alice started, Lara made a face. Seems like a reason to worry to me Dana glanced back to where Tina and Bette were.
How can someone do that? Have a fling behind the back of the woman they love. She said, stopping at Alice and Lara gave her a look. Shane chuckled.
What?!? I was having the woman I love behind my flings back Totally different! And besides You She poked Alice. Set it up and you she took Laras hand. Got the benefits Shane laughed and put her hands in her pockets. None of us are in any place to say anything.
