    Chapter 20 / “I have skills”

    Chapter 20

    Tina sighed as she reveled in the slow and gentle caress across her abdomen. When her eyes fluttered open, she found Teresa naked, on her side – her head propped up in her hand. Teresa smiled warmly as Tina’s face flushed in confusion,

    "Um…Did I fall asleep?"

    "Hmmm…You might have." Teresa teased.

    "Oh my God." Tina attempted to cover her face in embarrassment, but the brunette stopped her, taking her hand and clasping it firmly in her own.

    "You were only out for about ten minutes, or so. It was cute. And I imagine it means that I might have actually done alright for my first time."

    "Alright? How about…Very right. Amazingly right. Asoundingly right. Jesus Christ Teresa, if that was truly your first time I’m not so sure I can handle you in all your experienced glory."

    Teresa rolled over onto her back as the two of them erupted in a fit of laughter. The brunette interlaced her fingers with those of the blonde as they stared up at the ceiling.

    After taking a moment, Tina glanced over, trying to focus on Teresa’s face rather than her exquisite body,

    "Tess?"

    "Hmm?"

    "What are you thinking?"

    "I’m thinking…You are quite possibly the most beautiful person I have ever seen – that your body is exquisite, and that spending a lifetime in this bed with you would never be long enough."

    "You’re a charmer."

    "I speak the truth."

    Teresa seemed to have a permanent smile on her face. Gone were the lines of serious consternation and the weight of her supreme responsibility seemed to have been lifted, if only for the time being. Tina marveled at the sense of calm satisfaction in the woman beside her.

    "So where did you say you learned how to do that?" Tina propped herself up and looked down at the amused brunette.

    "I didn’t say."

    "Oh no? I could have sworn you did."

    "I didn’t."

    Tina furrowed her brow. I will get it out of you. Have no doubt."

    "Oh really? You seem to forget that I’m the one with interrogation experience."

    "Pfft. I’m a reporter – I have skills of my own." Tina teased.

    "Is that so?"

    Without notice, Tina pounced, straddling the Superintendent and gently pinning the brunette’s arms above her head.
