At Milk…

Tina watched as Nylan made her way to the bar, the way she strutted across the room
made Tina bubble with desire. She noticed stop and give a girl, probably a fan, a smile
her gray eyes shimmering as her dimples became visible. Tina eyes became wide when she seen
Bette sit down next to Nylan at the bar. She shot up out of her chair but was stopped
by Shane.

“I think they should talk Tina…you know…I mean she and Bette were pretty close
before and maybe they can get some closure” Shane said looking at Tina with sympathetic
eyes. Tina nodded and sat back down toasting with Shane. Ambrosia joined the both
of them.



“Hi Bette” Nylan deadpanned looking straight ahead at the pretty bartender, ordering a
drink for the both of them.

“Thank you” a beat, “look Nylan I want to congratulate you on all your sucess…
I knew you’d go places I just thought art would take you those places…but I’m
proud of you anyway” Nylan eyes fell to the floor when Bette spoke, it made
her want to cry to her Bette’s approval, it was all she ever wanted. The bartender
slid their drinks to them. Nylan and Bette toasted before they downed the shots.
Nylan looked over to the table seeing Tina and Ambrosia chatting ‘what the ***** is
she saying’ she thought.

“It means alot to me to hear you say that to me Bette” Bette nodded.

“I’m glad that you’ve made a change in your life but don’t expect me to give
you a high five for bedding my wife” Nylan’s face changed from happiness to
disbelief, “she loves me and it might not be tommorow or the next day but we
are going to work this out”.

“Bette if Tina was coming back to you she would have already…I gave her plenty
of chances…I went back to New York hoping you two would get back together
and Tina came after me I didn’t chase her get that through your ***** skull”
Nylan slammed her glass down on the bar and got up. Candace took Nylan’s spot
next to Bette and stared at her.

“What” Bette asked.

“Nothing it’s just that…I think we need to end this Bette its going nowhere
you’re still in love with Tina and it was stupid of me to fall in love with
you” Candace blurted the last part out, shocked at her own revelation.


“You’re in love with me…Candace I” Candace left Bette sitting at the bar.

“*****” Bette said aloud.



“Baby how come you didn’t tell me your were going to be working with
Ambrosia” Nylan looked from Ambrosia to Tina her mouth open but no
words following. Ambrosia smiled wickedly loving the sight of Nylan
squirming and about to piss on herself at any moment.

“Well we just got word this afternoon and I just couldn’t help myself…
I’m just really excited to be working with someone as good” Ambrosia let the
last words linger for a moment, “as Nylan”.



Alice and Dana grinded against each other on the dancefloor oblivious to
anyone or anything around ‘being in love is great’ the both of them
thought.

“Alice” the voice shook Alice from her daze and also sent chills down her
back. She looked up at Dana who had a digusted expression on her face.
Alice turned around to come face to face with her past.

“Gabby” Alice said flustered. Gabby smiled at Alice seductively never giving
Dana a second glance.

“I’ve missed you Alice” Gabby purred moving in to embrace Alice. Alice pushed
Gabby away from her.

“Okay I need for you…to give me like 10 feet” Alice turned to see Dana
as red as a beet, she was clearly angry.

“Alice look I know the last time…I was a total ***** but…” Alice put her
hand up to Gabby’s face interrupting her explanation.

“Save it Gabby I’m seeing someone right now and even if I wasn’t I don’t think
me and you would be hooking up” Gabby squinted not believing Alice’s honesty.

“You’re ‘seeing someone’ Alice…come on…whoever she is she can’t hold a
candle to us…and the ***** you know it was great so…” Alice stared at her
unaffected as she felt Dana’s body temperature rise and her breathing speed
up.

“Gabby I am in love with someone else a great person that ‘you’ can’t hold
a candle to…and for the record the ***** wasn’t that great so don’t flatter
yourself” Alice shot back thinking that since being with Dana she realized
the ***** with Gabby wasn’t all that great.

“Who is this mystery person Alice…if she really exists” Alice sighed.

“Me” Dana said.

“Her” she asked pointing at Dana.

“Yeah me *****!” Dana yelled moving Alice aside and pushing Gabby. Alice placed
her body in between the both of them holding both of her hands up in front
of Dana not sure if this would prevent anything else from happening.

“What…have you gotten that desperate Alice that you would have to sleep
with your friend the ping pong champion…its pathetic” Alice’s eyes widened as
she saw Dana’s expression ‘oh…*****’ she thought. Dana pushed Alice aside
as she lunged at Gabby tackling her to the ground. She grabbed Gabby by the shirt
and punched her.

“I play tennis *****…tennis” she yelled.



“Oh *****” Shane groaned lowly as her and Nylan watched Dana pound Gabby.
Shane pulled Nylan along with her toward the whole scene. They approached
Alice who was standing shocked at Dana’s behavior.

“Dana!” Shane yelled trying to pull her off of Gabby, she looked up at
Nylan, who was laughing, for some help. Alice slapped Nylan’s arm and
nodded towards Dana, Nylan threw her hands up and obliged Alice’s request.

“Come on Dee” Nylan said as she and Shane pulled Dana to her feet and rushed
her out of the door.

“That’s my girl” Alice laughed looking down at Gabby.


Nylan and Shane pushed Dana into the passenger side of her SUV and tossed
Alice the keys.

“Take her home and give her some okay Al” Shane joked and Nylan laughed. Ambrosia
walked up behind Shane and wrapped her arms around Shane’s waist.

“How about I take you home and give you some” Ambrosia whispered in Shane’s ear.
Nylan expression tightened as she looked at Shane and Ambrosia. Shane’s eyes
widened she was more than happy to please Ambrosia thinking they had waited
long enough to consumate their relationship ‘relationship?’ Shane questioned
her thoughts. Maybe Ambrosia could be her girlfriend a phrase she’d never
thought she would think or say for that matter.

“We’re gonna go you guys” Shane said pulling Ambrosia along with her. Nylan frowned.

“I have something that will put a smile on that face” Tina purred. Nylan grabbed
her by the waist pulling her close both of their bodies touching.

“Let’s go home” Nylan licked her lips as she spoke giving Tina a ***** me look.
