“I am glad you like the candy T, I can’t wait for the date either. I will let you get back to work. I am going to work on some of my shots for a while so see you later.”

Bette walked to the court. She shot free throws for thirty minutes, the 3 pointer for an hour; because she was at 40 percent for the season, and that needed to be 70 percent. She was working on her mid range jumper when her phone rang. She grabbed it off the bench.

“Hey Bink’s, what’s up?”

“What are you doing?”

“Just practicing some shots.”

“You want to join me for dinner?”

“Sure…Let me shower first. I can meet you at Hard Rock in one hour ok? Bye.”

Bette took a shower, put on jeans, a tank top and left to meet Bink’s. She got there within ten minutes to spare, but ended up arriving at the very same time as Bink’s. They chose a table and ordered burgers, chilli cheese fries and two cokes.

“So what’s new at Campus?” asked Bette.

“Today I meet with the Rainn Program to give them one million dollars, and to fund a internship thru them with us, and I met with the owner of Hunny Girls stores to set up a partnership to purchase ten of there stores”.

“Hunny Girls…who are they?”

“They are a chain of health food stores.”

“The partnership with Rainn is great because I know how important it is to you.” said Bette.

The food came. They both sat there eating for a few minutes.

“So how is it being everybody’s fantasy and every little girl who wants to be you?” asked Bink’s.

“It is cool for the most part, but a totally different kind of pressure you know…but I am dealing.” answered Bette as she bit into the last of her burger.

The girls shared more conversation before finding the urge to leave and do something else.

“You want to go for a walk after all this food?”

“Sure”

They got up and drove to the boathouse.

“So how are things with Tina?” asked Bink’s.

“Well…we talked and straightened things out and now we are dating.”

Suddenly, they heard a thud.

“Get behind me Bink’s now!” Bette said in a steely tone.
