“Mommy, mommy, get up!” Julian jumped on the bed between his two mommies. I turned around and stared lovingly at our four-year-old son. I adored him and so did Bette. He was just so funny and intelligent already.

Bette had woken up as well and Julian wasn’t too pleased with that.

“Momma B, you have to sleep! It’s your birthday.”

“Oh, I’m so sorry, mister Kennard-Porter. I will sleep again if that is your will,” Bette said in a solemn voice. She closed her eyes and snored very loudly. It was clear she was faking. She squeezed my hand and I couldn’t help but to smile.

Julian looked pleased that his other mommy was asleep again.

“Come on, momma T, we have to get up. It’s momma B’s birthday and I have a reaaaaaaally special surprise for her.”

“Oh, and what is that?”

“I won’t tell you here, silly, she might here us! What if she wakes up?”

“In that case I will come with you. Give me just a minute.”

“Okay, but hurry!”

Julian disappeared again with an energy that always fascinated us. Bette opened her eyes and I kissed my lovely wife. We both got carried away and soon, I was on top of my best friend and lover.

“We can’t. Jules is waiting for me and we don’t want him to hear us, right,” I said after having the biggest trouble pulling away. Bette nodded.

“But tonight, he is going to his Auntie Kit’s and I promise I will more than ravish you then,” I said. “I have some very wicked plans for you.”

“That sounds great.”

I got up, went to the bathroom and quickly made myself ready. In the kitchen, Julian was waiting impatiently.

“Finally!”

“So, what did you have in mind, little man?” I asked him curiously.

“I want to make breakfast on bed for momma B and then we are going for a loooooooooooong walk around the lake and after that we have lunch at the Planet and auntie Kit already knows and then I wanna give momma B her present.”

“Do I have a say in any of this?” I chuckled. He was just too cute and as headstrong as Bette, always planning on beforehand.
