“Alright what is that anyway?” Bette asked then decided to eat a small portion.

“It’s a Filipino food that a friend introduced me to and what’s great about it is that you can actually cook it in different ways but the one that you’re eating is a kind of spicy” Kit explained then she sat on the chair beside her sister’s

“Kit its delicious! What’s this called?” Bette asked with her mouth full

“It’s called Adobo, and I even added it to my menu in The Planet and my customers absolutely loved it” Kit said proudly “Anyway when will Ed arrive?”

Bette suddenly looked sad “He called me this morning and he said that he’ll be here next week”

“Oh you mean he won’t be here on you anniversary on Saturday?”

 “I’m afraid so” Bette took a big breath then grabbed the remote and switched the TV on.

“Baby girl I’m sorry to hear that” Kit looked at Bette with sad eyes and suggested “why don’t you remind him about it?”

“No I don’t want to do that, he has a lot of things on his plate right now and I don’t want to add more to it, you know?”

“But it’s your God damned anniversary! Of course he has to be here!!” Kit said furiously

“I don’t know Kit, can we just drop it? Please?”

Bette was absentmindedly flipping the channels when she saw a familiar blonde. The television crew and the paparazzi were following her as she was headed to her car. The screen was blurry so she couldn’t fully recognized who the woman was. When the reporter mentioned the blonde’s name her heart skipped a beat. She couldn’t fathom why she’s having that kind of reaction towards a woman named Tina Kennard…
