Helena shrugged and looked away, she was having second thoughts about telling Ashlee the truth.

Helena gazed into Ashlee’s eyes while the inner voice in her head was screaming at her to tell the truth.

She inhaled deeply and began, “ Remember that night when you sent Sarah back to her hotel and I was with Bette? “

“ Yeah… “ Ashlee furrowed her eyebrows, unsure of where Helena was going.

“ And when she sent me home, she started telling me that she still loves me and kissed me… “ Helena stopped in mid-sentence and looked away. She didn’t have the courage to look into Ashlee’s eyes.

Although Ashlee sensed that Helena’s encounter with Bette did not just end there and was afraid for the worst to happen, she didn’t want to force or pressure Helena to go on.

Helena pleaded as she watched Ashlee who was staring intently at the pool. She didn’t care if Ashlee was going to start cursing, swearing or whatever, she just wanted to hear a respond.
