Teresa stood in front of Tina, who was sitting on the couch in Alices apartment. She shoved her hands inside the pockets of her tight blue jeans she was wearing. Like a teenager in the principles office waiting to be sent to detention. Its time, she continued, avoiding looking into Tinas eyes.

Tina was watching her noticing how beautiful she looked when she was
nervous. She wanted to get up and hug her telling her not to leave, but she knew it was something Teresa had to do and besides getting up from the couch was not a simple maneuver for her anymore. The pregnancy was in its final days and Tina was looking forward to walking again instead of rolling around the house.
Come here, she whispered to Teresa and Teresa immediately fell on her knees in front of the woman she loved.

Tina ran her fingers through Teresas dark silky hair and ended up gently touching her cheek. Teresa leaned her cheek on the warm hand and sighed. Ill miss you so much, she whispered kissing Tinas palm. Tina couldnt reply, she had a lump of tears caught in her throat that prevented her from talking.

Tina: I miss you already. She managed to say eventually. Tears falling down her cheeks. Im sorry., she wiped the tears from her eyes not wanting to make this any harder for Teresa. I dont know why I cry all the time..being pregnant is like an emotional roller coaster, she laughed.

Teresa wasnt laughing. Instead her eyes became watery too. She caressed Tinas belly for the hundredth time today and asked, did you mean what you say the other night? ..When I told you I had to leave..will you wait for me?

Tina paused and leaned down to reach Teresas face with both her hands. She looked straight into Teresas eyes and said, I promise. And with that she kissed her passionately, long enough and hard enough for Teresa to remember each and every day of the coming seven weeks. When they broke off the kiss, Teresa knew that everyone of these days will seem like eternity because she had Tina waiting for her on the other side of the world, because she had her daughter waiting for her too, but mainly because she was in love, totally and utterly in love with Tina.

She got up and with a final kiss said goodbye to Tina. She turned around and walked over to Alice, who was standing in the kitchen watching them say their goodbyes. Teresa gave Alice a big hug and said take care of her and yourself. Alice smiled. In the past couple of months she had grown to like Teresa very much. They havent really had more than a five minute conversation, but Alice was pleased by the fact that Teresa treated Tina with so much respect and as far as her own feelings, wanting Tina to work it out with Bette, well that was not her decision to make. Only Tina herself could do that and when she did not, all Alice could do was be happy for her.

Dont worry about me or Tina, just be careful not bring anything back with you.you know like a cow, a small child,. malaria.

Alice!!! Tina yelled and got off the couch with a cautionary look. Her expression meant only one thing. Ill kill you if you dont shut up.

Alice noticed the expression and gave Teresa a quick goofy smile knowing that the pregnant Tina, very pregnant Tina is not the person to mess with these days. Teresa laughed and with that she left.

Wheeee!!! I did it, I did it. Kit was jumping up and down on the stairs of Bentz & Greenbergs law office. She was jumping, laughing, holding Bette tightly when she started telling her about her future business plans.

Bette put her hand on her sisters shoulder with a look mixed with pride and admiration. Im so proud of you, she said squeezing Kits shoulder. Now that Kit received the money from her Snoop Doggs gig, she decided to buy the Planet from Francesca. Today after a long and tiring negotiation, she was officially the new owner of the Planet.

Kit was on top of the world, sober, successful and full of ambition. She started telling Bette about her big plans for her new business. I dont think I can afford to change much of the dcor, but we have to add a little more style, a little groove to the place. Some music, dancers, Oh man, the grand opening is going to be fantastic. Im going to have the whole world and its wife there. A party like no one has ever seen before. The Party of the Year!!!!
Kit just kept on an on, talking about the grand opening of the Planet under her ownership. Bette just listened, smiling for Kit and so proud of her. She remembered the times when Kit was struggling with her drinking problems. She thought of the way she treated Kit then and was ashamed of herself. The only thing that comforted her was seeing Kit standing on her own two feet, being the wonderful woman she is. Reaping the fruits of her hard work and talent.
Kit finally stopped walking, she looked into Bettes eyes, you know, Bette I would never have done it without you. As much as I loved you before, I have to admit that the past few months I have grown to know and love a Bette far more sensitive and loving than the one I knew before. You never doubted my decision to buy the Planet in the first place. The way you negotiated with Francescas Dobermans was admirable. Im so impressed by your skills. She hugged Bette and gave her a kiss, thank you for everything, you know whatever you need Im here for you too. Bette closed her eyes and joined her sisters embrace.

Bette: Kit?I need her eyes open now, but she couldnt find the words.

Kit: What is it baby? She knew Bette was fighting her feelings and wanted to know what it was that Bette needed.

Bette looked at the floor, moving her weight nervously from side to side. Maybe you can help with somethingI dont know if youll want to
