They stared into each others eyes.

Alice rolled onto her side and Dana put her arms around her.

“Do you know how I have dream to be like this?”

“Pregnant?”

“No silly!” “With you in your arms.”

“Oh right.”

“I’ve never safe as I do with you.”

“Aww babe.”

They kiss

“I hate to say think but I’m still hungry.”

“Well you are eating for two.” “What are you in the mood for?”

“Strangely Hot Dogs, but not those nasty organic ones you have.”

“Hey!”

“I’m sorry hunny I know you’re into that stuff but I’m not.”

“Well you should think about, it would be good for the baby.”

“Maybe we can ease into it some of the stuff really isn’t too bad.”

“Okay so were do you want to get these non-nasty organic hot dogs?”

“At that place down the street.”

“Okay you wait here and I’ll go get them.”

“No I want to go with.”

“Okay I’ll get the keys.”

“No I want to walk, it’s a beautiful evening.”

“Okay babe.”

They put on their shoes and left. They held hands as walked down the street. Dana saw a few of her neighbors, they waved. There were a few kids who were skateboarding that kept looking at the two very oddly.

“Dana?’

“Yea babe.”

“I don’t like the way those kids are looking at us.”

“Just ignore them.”

“Dana they’re coming closer.”

“Pick up the pace a bit.”

Dana and Alice start to walk a little faster. They kids pick up the pace and eventually catch up to the women.

“You’re going to burn in hell.”

Dana and Alice stop and turn around.

“Excuse me”

“What part of you’re going to fucking burn in hell didn’t you understand.”

“Why exactly are we going to burn in hell?”

“Cause you’re fucking homos.”

“Our sexuality is really none of your concern.”

“Like hell it isn’t your kind is what is wrong with America.”

“Yea you fucking Homos are ruining America and the sanity of marriage.”

Dana and Alice start to walk away. The kid walks up to them and grabs Al by the arm.
