Little Things
Jodi entered the house and walked to the back, finding what she expected to see.
After New York and Bette’s heartfelt entreaties for her to return to LA and to their relationship, Jodi had done so and all but moved in with Bette.
The other change was the relationship between Bette and Tina. For all that had gone on then, 6 months later and their friendship was substantial and concrete. And their co-parenting was like a well oiled machine. They had agreed on Angelica’s routine, how and why should would be disciplined, and how the different parents would handle the variety of situations that would come up. Rather than the antagonistic approach Tina and Bette had had over the past 2 years, now through their renewed respect for one another, they compromised and communicated. The change was tangible and noticeable to all around them.
Jodi still was not crazy about kids but decided that Angelica, mostly because she was Bette’s, was not so bad.
She fixed a pitcher of drinks and took them out to the pool where the bikini clad Bette and Tina were swimming with Angie. Although she couldn’t hear the laughter she could see how much fun they were having.
Tina saw her first and signed a greeting. Jodi was impressed with Tina’s efforts to learn but Tina explained that Jodi was now a part of her life as she was Bette’s partner and an important adult in her daughter’s life. Besides, Tina had come to like Jodi and understood her personality in much the same way as she understood Bette’s.
Jodi was also impressed with Tina. Far from the monster she had made Tina out to be in her head after hearing some of the past history with Bette, Tina was smart, kind and was undergoing a period of self awareness. She was all but celibate in her efforts to focus on herself and her closest. It was apparently a departure from Tina’s need for relationships to make her feel whole and the difference in her confidence and happiness was evident. Still the closeness of her partner and her ex- was a constant source of unease.
“Hi” she said as she leaned down to give Bette a kiss and pat Angie on the head.

Lovely story. I hope to see this continue. I am a TiBetter, BUT…I would still certainly read with or without that. I like your style. Keep posting my friend.
This is interesting and like it!
Yes please continue, I love this, it will be interesting to see how long jodie stay’s. And i am first, never been first in my life. lol. pps
Please continue. This is very intresting. Will there be a Tibette reunion??
awesome Robi great writing and excellent storyline, this is what I am hoping for will happen in S5, and, off course, I am hoping it will bring them back together as well in S5 or S6(in my dreams). will they do it here, pleeeeease let them;-) there, i’ve begged – something I rarely do unless the prospect of sex is involved:-)
well I’d say continue but only if u intend for Bette and Tina to get back 2gether, otherwise I won’t be interested….don’t mean to be rude its just that I’m a tru-blu tibetter.
Please continue. I love your writing style, am also hoping that the Phoenix that arises is, well … I know you’ve already finished the story, so I can only pray and hope that T & B get back together again … I’m looking forward to the journey!
OH, and I have NO constructive criticism, unfortunately …
This seems to develop into an interesting story. You should continue definitely. However, there must be a Bette & Tina Happy End with a large happy family. Do not blame me for it but I will only further read, if it becomes a B & T back together story. I am a true B+T Forever Fan. PPS
Nice….something a little different. you mentioned you’re a tibetter, so there will be a reunion, yes???? PLEASE please post soon, since you’ve finished writing it! Thank you.
hell yes continue, If I were Jodi I would be jumping in the ocean and swimming for Mountains in China, running for the hills wouldn’t be far enough, she must be a very very confident woman or really really not into long term, cause it looks like she is in the wrong place at the wrong time.
goo for it!DAMN FINE!p.p.s.
Uh..I just got here and am about to read your next post, but..Don’t dare stop!!
A logical and adult s/l. Their convo is totally realistic ….the family portrait that you paint is detailed and nuanced. Your vision for Jodi and expression of her feelings is well designed and expressed. I like this s/l. I’ll read on.
yes plz continue and plz let there be a B&T reunion !!
Yes, Please keeep this going. Can not wait to see what happens next. Thanks
