Bette and Tina entered the house to find Nan pacing back in forth in the den, a folder on the coffee table beside her. Bette went to her distraught aunt and hugged her in an attempt to calm her. As she moved back from the embrace, Bette led Nan to the couch and sat down beside her, still holding her hand. Tina, meanwhile moved to the chair across, now somewhat unsure and uncomfortable with Bette’s aunt.
“Tia, what’s going on?” Bette asked prompting Nan to point to the folder on the table. Bette leaned over and picked it up. Opening it she found photos of her and Tina, kissing on Shane’s deck. Bette just stared at them, the furor starting to marinate within. Rather than allow the anger free rein, she opted not to speak for the moment, instead passing the photos to Tina by way of explanation.
Tina was shocked that Jody to be so underhanded and that the photos could appear so quickly. Even for him, it was low. She watched Bette carefully, knowing the normally gentle Bette was beyond angry but was trying to control it. Tina went over and knelt beside Bette, stroking her leg in an effort to support her. At the gesture, Bette felt herself calming and gave Tina a half smile.
“It’s a lovely photo Bette.” Tina offered, causing Bette to start chuckling and shook her head at Tina.
“Dios, Bette this is not funny.” Nan admonished in spanish, her upset making it very difficult to find the words in English.
Bette suddenly felt bad for her outburst “Lo siento Tia. I’m sorry I had an affair and I’m sorry you had to find out like this…”
Nan waved her apology away. “I don’t care that you had an affair. But I would prefer that you properly get rid of that coño you call a husband..”
“Tia!” Bette scolded in shock at the expletive.
Again, Nan waved her hand. “And I am happy for you and Tina. So is your mama – I told her all about Tina.”
Bette was agasp. “You told Mama?”
“Of course.” Nan answered unrepentantly. “I didn’t know what was going to happen and I didn’t want her to read about it in the paper, did you?”

Hopefully Jody will be too caught up in federal court or jail to case B and T trouble.

Prenup or no, it’s pitiful that Bette would need to pay off that rodent. Maybe the girls can find enough against him to make Jody will slither away with only an STD as his prize. Always look forward to your posts.
I think Tia Nan should watch what she eats and drinks and drives around Jody. She’s too valuable to lose! This was too short, but I thank you for continuing the story!

Wow, so Nan and now Bette’s mom know that B&T are an item. I hope that Tina gets to the bottom of the evil doings of Jody. I hope that you will continue to write when you have time. Playing tennis is an awesome way to get one’s exercise.

Damn it feels good to know a little bit of Spanish. XD I can see why Bette didn’t sign a prenup if she’s one who believes marriage is forever. Well forever came and went so it’s time to kick Jody to the curb.

I knew it that bastard has been embezzling money from Bette the whole time. I hope T and her friend and Bette’s lawyer string him up by his balls. Tia Nan to the rescue I am glad she was watching over Bette, things could have gotten really ugly if she hadn’t alerted her. Now that B has a heads up maybe she can take out the trash before he has a chance to blackmail her or hold out for a big settlement. PPS I love Love All.

and in walks that jerk!!!! man, Bette should start moving her funds around, and seeing as the jerk has always cheated, then that is enough grounds to get a divorce and Bette won’t have to pay him that much, after all. so I guess now it’s see you next sunday, bummer cause this story is a good one and I look forward to regular posts (which sadly don’t happen.. *sigh*

Ditto AngelDana and Superdaddy. I absolutely love this story. I wish there were evidence against Jody for his infidelity, but the fact the he screwed with Bette’s funds is disguisting and could diminish the weight of error on Bette’s part. I’m hooked! PPS
Well, I hope Jody has been doing something illegal so that Bette can threaten to turn him in..and then he will back off taking her for all she is worth. Hope to see Bette at Tina’s..sounds like that could be cute. PPS.

Hey Robi, Great to see that Nan sees how right Tina is for Bette and how wrong that Jody is. This latest stunt just shows how pathetic he is. I do hope that Tina and Bette grab him by the short and curlies over his finanical dealings with Bette’s money and throw him out of their lives forever. Whay goes around, comes around.
