As they made their way up the stairs, Bette was amazed at how incredibly the venue was decorated and as they reached the top floor, the number of people there. She turned to Tina and whispered. “They know, right?”
Tina grinned and nodded.
As the crowd spotted Bette, the broke into a round of applause. Bette blushed and clasped Tina’s hand to help steady her.
She raised the other in acknowledgement and worked through the room greeting the attendees and introducing Tina’s parents along the way. It wasn’t long before word spread that Carrie King was in attendance and soon Tina’s parents were busy greeting old friends and fans on their own. Tina graciously but steadily moved Bette to the back of the room where she knew their friends would be.
“Girl, you sure know how to throw a party.” Kit exclaimed when the couple came into proximity.
Tina grinned a bit shyly. “To be fair Kit, this is definitely a collaborative effort. Alice and Bette are really the keys to this success.”
“Don’t sell yourself short Tina. You are the brains in this operation.” Alice said.
“Well whomever it is, its freakin great for the club.” Kit said.
“It could’ve just as easily gone the other way, Kit. You took a punt and I won’t forget that unconditional support.” Bette said genuinely as she reached around and gave Kit a one armed hug around the shoulder.
“Bette, what is that?” Dana asked as the glimmer from the ring on Bette’s left hand caught her eye.
Bette gave Tina a quick look of concern but Tina responded with a smile and a nod.
“Well, tonight I got the best offer of my life. My manager has brought me a lifetime contract and I have verbally agreed to it.”
The friends looked from one another sharing their confusion.
“We’re going to get married.” Tina clarified and accepted a passionate kiss from Bette as they shared the mutual excitement.
“Oh my god, that’s fantastic!” Helena said as she grabbed Bette and hugged her around the neck.
“I know. Imagine if you hadn’t agreed to back off. We might not be here now.”

Great ending. Love B&T, they are sweet and cute. jody is a stupid man and glad you kick him out of the picture. Im with Eddy and please post your sequel soon, can’t wait to see more. Thanks for the story!
Wow, I am bummed that it is over for now, but I can understand. Do you think that you can take Jenny and Jody and place them in the middle of the Atlantic or Pacific Ocean for good?

Hi Robi, I liked this story so much that it got stuck in my mind but couldn’t remember which story or the author. So I left a request on the discussion forum->’Help me find a story’ and jp22 was good enough to solve my problem, however I am disappointed that you haven’t finished it. Please,Please return and start writing again as I would love to know how Bette copes with seeing Tina with different women and knowing that her ‘dates’ aren’t finishing at the door with a goodbye kiss,lol !!Cheers, Angie….
Hello Robi Cheau, I have missed this story so much. I was re-reading it in anticipation for your return. I am sad that it is ending (for the time being) I cannot wait to see what you have in store. I love the set up for Jody, but the best was this: (Tina laughed and shook her head. “Bette, you didn’t need to worry, as beautiful and charming as Helena is, to use a cliché, you had me at hello.”) I love that line; you are brilliant, amazing and thank you. Thanks for this great Story. I hope in the future you write a Sequel of B&T got Married, Bette became the Number One in the Worldlist of Tennisplayer, and B&T become more children.
I hope you write a sequal to this story it has been great. What about their wedding? Bette’s tennis career? Children? There’s plenty to write about. Look forward to more of your writing.

It’s been such a great tale, Robi, but I really hope you’re doing a sequel in the near future, as Jody seems like he has a lot more mischief to pull…! Love that line Robi “you had me at hello.” I just used that in my Candy Cand story. This was a awesome story, and I hjuust hate to see it end. Of course, the way you ended it, you DEFINATELY could run a seque. As a Tibette fan, you sure made us all happy. Please hurry up and post some more of your creativity on the site. Robi, loved this story and although it is the end for NOW, I can hardly wait for the sequel. Jodi needs to be put in jail for a very long time and the girls get married, more children and just whatever else you plan on writing. LOL Great story. PPS
Well I am so sad to see this end but I am sure that the sequel to this will be awesome ;-) I just loved the tennis background to the story and you have left us with so much unresolved story lines ie , wedding, the open etc etc and I was almost forgetting jody and the ass kicking that Tina will give him.But for now a big thanks for sharing your talent with us and I look forward to your next set of stories.
Wow th his was truly great story sorry to see it end there…been a few years but you can still come back and write more there are so many loose ends. Jodys not done. The Open..does she win?..retirement take Tina back to her home place….kids.wedding..so many things…lol thank you..
