Chapter 59:
Tina looks at the phone after Bette hung up on her. She can’t believe Bette just hung up like that. She tried to call her back but she went straight to voice mail.
Hey, you’ve reached Bette. At the beep, you know what to do.
Beep:
“Bette I know you’re upset, but so am I. How dare you just hang up like that? If you’re going to do something stupid at least be woman enough to break up with me properly…………I….lo..ve….you..” Tina hung up before she started balling.
Club Playhouse
Bette walked into the club and immediately made a beeline to the bar. Mandy the bartender scoped her out as soon as she walked in. As rare as it is to see the beautiful brunette stop by, it is always an event when she does.
“Hey sexy. What can I get you?”
“Hi Amanda. A shot of Patron please.”
“Coming right up.” Amanda said with a wink and a smile.
Just as Bette took her first shot, she felt a tap on her shoulder. She turned around and staring back at her were the second most beautiful pair of hazel eyes she has ever seen.
“I thought you were going to stand me up.”
“Arianna, I called you. Why would I stand you up?”
“Well, you having a girlfriend and all. I guess I’m just surprised to hear from you.”
“I don’t want to talk. Let’s dance.” Bette said grabbing her by the hand and leading her to the dance floor.
One of Bette’s favorite club bangers was playing and she felt Arianna pull her close as she started grinding on her. She was definitely a great dancer and Bette felt like a piece of shit for having a physical reaction to any woman not named Tina Kennard.
“Mmm Bette, your body feels so good against mine.”
Bette didn’t respond to the whispers in her ear. She just wanted to be lost in the music for a while. She closed her eyes and suddenly she felt Arianna’s lips on her neck.
“You’re so fucking sexy, Bette Porter. Why don’t you come to my place tonight. You won’t be disappointed. I promise.” She could see Bette thinking really hard about it. She motioned for one of the bar girls to come over.

I’m happy that my comment made you lol. Back to asshole, whatever you write about asshole in my book she cheated when she hung up on her girlfriend and called the other girl. I mean the only reason she did it is to spite Tina. That’s another thing, why can’t Tina have someone pining after her to make Bette jealous? So Bette can see how it feels. Why should I cut Bette slack when she does it for herself? I have a feeling these 2 aren’t going to make it but I beg of you, stop making Tina the jealous one in the relationship it’s giving your story an unappealing imbalance. Still love it but hate the drama!!!! Thanks😬

Wait, I’m i the lone member of Team Bette still? I mean come on, if you keep tellimg me that i’m thirsty eventually i’ll believe you and take a drink. Whether or no Bette got a little frustrated w. Tina and maybe she got a little distraction from another girl doesn’t make her a bad person…does it? Tina should have never let her insecurities get the ebst of her with Bette and if Bette makes a little mistake in her reaction Tina should totally forgive (if she even finds out). And for the record dancing and kissing isn ‘t really cheating so maybe Bette gets close to that line but doesn’t cross it. Great updates…so when do we find out how Bette ended her nighta nd why she hasn’t called or texted Tina yet??
This is sad and feel bad for them and hope Bett not do anything stupid. Please post more, thanks!

I can see Bette’s point… Tina’s lack of faith is disturbing… and now she’s already feeling the ripples in the force. I think Bette is more hurt that Tina thinks that she would or could cheat… she’s not given Tina any reason to think she would. Bette needs to stay true to herself, Tina’s doubts aside. She doesn’t want to cheat on her girlfriend that she’s in love with, and just because Tina’s insecurities are hurting them both, she shouldn’t give up. Until meeting that girl at the club, Bette really hadn’t done anything wrong. And as of yet, still hasn’t. We’ll see what happens. Thanks for the chapter and please post soon. Thanks :)
Man…this is suck!…wish Bette had some clarity while she’s washing her hand…and sneak her way out of there. :P. cuz that chick is D.A.N.G.E.R.O.U.S. Even if Bette is single no way would she hooked up to that girl. Bad news!
I can understand Bette’s frustration with Tina, but she has no right to go out and seek revenge like she has. I mean, let’s face it. Bette called that hussy Arianna to meet her at the club bcuz she wants to hurt Tina. I don’t like that Bette grinded with Arianna and that she allowed her to kiss her! :( No! Why o why?! I just want to say talaula your comment freaking cracked the hell out of me! LOL the “asshole” bit had me giggling! 😂 bettefortina what do you mean kissing isn’t cheating!? 😳 omg it SO is cheating! Wow, so heated with the remarks… a good sign that ayesha23 did a good job writing the chapter. LOng distance is so hard because it always brings up the insecurities that we frail humans have. These two women are still young and life does go on. Hopefully, when Bette is in the bathroom, she’ll look at herself in the mirror and realize that she is being an ass and if she walks back out that door to the bar she will lose a very precious person in her life. Gosh let’s pray that she experiences a grown up moment and walks out the back door instead. It could happen… just saying…
