    Love in Flight Part Seven

    Chapter Seven

“I take it from the look on her face that you didn’t I was a virgin.”

    Oh Shit

She had never felt this low and dirty in her life. Shit, that’s what she felt like, shit. She’d done something only a low down dirty horny dog would do. Tina deserved better, way better than to have her virginity taken from her by a stranger. Bette wished that the earth would open and swallow her. She wanted to scream out at her stupidity. Lying never solves a problem it just makes it worst. Before she had had a chance that the blonde might have forgiven but now that was lost forever. Why would anyone trust her now?

“What’s wrong Bette” Tina asked noticing the raging storm on the brunette’s face. She kneeled next to her putting her arms around the brunette only to have Bette push her away.

“I don’t deserve your sympathy or your kindness” she pulled away from the touch she had come to love so much. Love. She loved Tina. Bette started to cry.

“Of course you deserve my sympathy, Bette. You’re my wife.” This made Bette felt even worse. It was now or never.

“I’m not your wife.” There she said it. It was such a relieve for Bette to finally get the truth out. “I’m not your wife” she repeated softly. Tears of relieve and guilt flooded her eyes.

“What” Tina asked perplexed. “Not my wife. How is that possible?”

“You hired me to fly to Arizona to visit your mother in the hospital”

Like a movie replayed in slow motion Tina remembered everything. The call made to her that her mother had just had a heart attack, meeting Bette, being scared to get into the plane, Bette’s beautiful voice reassuring her that she would be safe and the ring. The real reason why Bette had given her the ring. She pushed Bette away from her like she had burned her.

“My mother, you kept me away from my mother.” Tina started to cried. The fate of her mother was unknown. Julie Kennard must be worried about her daughter, if she was even still alive.

Tina tried to stifle a sob. Her mother could be in pain right now or worse dead.

    1. AwwW Tina that was the dumbest thing you could have ever done, walking away from the camp in unfamiliar territory, even though you followed Bette’s directions. Dumb, dumb, dumb and dangerous. Hope Bette finds her soon. Wonderful update. Thanks for posting.

    2. This is a NIGHTMARE!! Tina is embarrassed…but please don’t let her be stupid!! Bette needs to find her fast….and tell her that she loves her!! Please come back soon…I was missing this story big time!!

    3. Oh come on, Why leave?..I know Bette’s admission is “too little too late”. ..But [thou i said she should be Honest to her] in her defense..well?…we do stupid things in order to protect someone we love. ..And Tina should never blamed herself..The fact she can’t give herself to Helena.. That speak volume. ..If we are truly in love.. We take the plunge no matter what it caused us.

    4. HEY I MISS THIS ONE SOOOO MUCH I HOPE YOU CAN POST SOON,LOOKING FORWARD TO READ MORE OF THIS AMAZING STORY AS ALL YOUR OTHER AMAZING STORIES, PRETTY PLEASEEEE!!!

I hope they will have another opportunity to make things back on the right track … :-) and let each other know about their feeling… PPVS! Thanks! :-)

    6. Hi Andy, Whoa Tina, don’t just react and storm off into uncharted territory. This was really stupid to leave the camp and its safety especially given Tina’s injury. It was good for these gals to clear the air as Bette admitted her lie causing Tina to remember everything. Most interesting is that they both still love each other however the hurt and guilt they fell is keeping them apart. I do hope that they can resolve this soon and get back to that sweet loving. More please and Many Thanks from Your Loyal Fan.
