    Alice is a talk show host and her guests are Jenny and Tim. And Jenny has a confession to make.

    STATIC

    Her name is Alice Pieszecki.  At least until the cameras roll.  Then she becomes Alice Peters, talk show host and pop culture icon.  It’s not what she was expecting her life to become, but here she stands, waiting for her cue to enter the studio.

    The studio itself is packed with an audience ready for the coming insanity that inevitably arrives with each taping.  The countdown commences and on, "two," the audience is signalled to begin cheering.  The audience roars as the program begins and Alice takes her cue to enter the studio.  She enters through the crowd, high fiving some audience members, many of which appear to be in their early to mid-20′s.  Alice stands in front of one of the cameras and smiles, microphone in hand.

    Audience: ALICE!  ALICE!  ALICE!

    Alice: Welcome to the Alice Peters Show!  Today, our guest has a confession to make about her love life.

    Audience: Ooooo!!!

    Alice: Without any further adieu, let’s bring her out!  Here’s Jennifer!

    The audience applauds as the guest appears from behind the stage, emerging at the entrance and meekly smiling before taking her seat.

    Alice: Welcome to the program.

    Jenny: Thanks.

    Alice: So you have confession to make?

    Jenny sighs.

    Jenny: Yes.  I’ve been cheating on my fiance.

    The audience groans.  Alice has a concerned and curious expression.

    Alice: Do you love your fiance?

    Jenny: Yes.  But…

    The audience starts to boo until Alice motions for everyone to calm down.

    Jenny: But…I just…have these feelings that I just can’t explain.  It’s like this demon it’s…it tempts me…

    Some of the audience members laugh while others groan.

    Alice: Okay, okay…hold on…  So…these demons.  Do they tell you what to do?

    Jenny: It’s…wow.  It’s really hard to explain.

    Alice looks around.

    Alice: Okay then.  What’s your fiance’s name?

    Jenny: Tim.

    Alice: Okay, Tim does not know why we’re here.

    Jenny: I told him it was a surprise.

    Alice: Oh, it’s gonna be a surprise alright.

    The audience laughs and claps.

    Alice: Is our guest ready?  Okay, let’s bring him out, here’s Tim!

    The audience applauds as Tim enters the stage, wearing his CU Swim Team jacket.

    Alice: Welcome to the show, Tim.

    Tim has a puzzled expression on his face.

    Tim: Hi…

    Tim looks over at his fiancee.

    3. Oh Lord. I needed this. You’ve outdone yourself here, Kace. I love it! Is Bette going to appear in a future episode, with The Carpenter in tow, to make Tina unleash her rage? Lol, I certainly hope so.

    4. Gosh !!! I hate that show (JS I mean)… I can’t understand how people can watch this… it really appeals to the lowest instincts in people (if they can really called that way : animals or monkeys would be more accurate ;-)) Moreover, I can’t understand how people who are “invited” to the show do not guess what is going to fall on them…and still accept to come : everybody should know it can only be shit :-(( … anyway, your story was fun… just because it’s only a story… but the scene with Fran is in no way less disgusting than the one on the real Lword show… anyway, keep on writing, hoping that the next post will be from a different show :-)
