Bette squeezes Tina’s hand as they walk along.

Tina glances up at Bette, a shy smile gracing her face, followed by a little headshake. “I can’t believe you’re making me do this” Tina whispers.

“And what would that be sweetie?” Bette asks innocently, swinging her girlfriends arm with one hand, while carrying a hamper of food in the other.

“Oh please” Tina responds, biting her lip. Of course no one in their right mind would guess what the sweet blonde was wearing, but it still didn’t stop her from discreetly adjusting her clothing, and looking around every now and then at passers by.

“Baby relax, no one knows” Bette says, enjoying every minute.

“It’s easy for you to say” Tina says, trying to muster as much dignity as possible.

The two of them cross the road walking through a set of gates. The park was a hive of activity. Rollerbladers, people playing frisbee, families, couples, friends all enjoying this exceptionally beautiful day. Bette and Tina walked for a few minutes, eventually finding a spot that was a comfortable distance away from the hustle and bustle.

Bette sets down the picnic basket while Tina lays out the blanket. Sitting down she locates the chilled wine and begins to pour as she feels Tina easing her legs apart. The blonde climbs in, angling herself so she can lean back against her lover.

“Make yourself at home” Bette chuckles passing Tina a glass and wrapping her arm around the blonde pulling her back gently.

“Oh I will” Tina smiles, sinking in to Bette.

A few moments pass as they watch the activity playing out in front of them. Tina eases herself lower, laying her head against Bette’s tummy. She tilts her head, looking up, locking eyes with Bette.

The brunette had been watching with her usual adoration. Smiling back, she leans down kissing the cute blonde softly on the forehead.

“Bette… I’m so happy right now” Tina declares, feeling so safe and content in her girlfriends arms.

“Me too baby” Bette responds, resting her hand affectionately on the blonde’s head, playing with a few locks of hair.

Just as they are grinning at each other a little girl begins to totter over, her little legs stumbling slightly. The shy toddler reaches out her hand, revealing a little daisy she had picked.
