    Part II

     

    Carmen:  Oh.  Come on Sh-Shaaaaane!  Tell us all about your life out of L.A.  Tell us about everything.  We are alllllllll dying to knowwwww!

    Jenny:  Carmen…  Are you okay?

    Carmen:  Pft!  I’m fine Jennnnnnny!  (Carmen walks over to the table and stumbles over on her way there.  Shane is there to catch her before she falls.)

    Shane:  Carmen!  How much have you had to drink?

    Carmen:  That is none of your business!

    Jenny:  Carmen.  Have a seat.  We’re all here.  Having a good time.  Shane is here and Mel and everyone else.  Can we just enjoy the rest of the night with no complications?

    Carmen:  Wh-hat complications?  I’m not doing anything!  I-I-I’m with Alice.  I’m just curious as to what our buddy Shane here has been up to with her time away from us.  Nd Mel..  We would love to hear about the wedding ceremony.  (She says this as she ruffles through Shane’s hair.)

    Shane:  Carmen.  I think you need to lie down.

    Carmen:  Don’t FUKIN’ TELL ME WHAT YOU THINK I NEED TO DO!  (Carmen pushes Shane away.)

    Tina:  Guys!  Can we not do this please?  The kids are asleep right there and I don’t think they should be here when any of this is going on.

    Shane:  I’m sorry about that Tina. 

    Tina:  It’s okay!

    Bette:  Come on.  Let’s just all have a seat and like Jenny said, “Let’s just enjoy the rest of the night.”

    Shane:  Umm… Actually…  I think we’re gonna get going.  Mel?  Can you grab Harmon please and get Shay up also?

    Mel:  Sure!  (Mel heads over to the 2 boys who are sound asleep.)  Shay!  Wake up!  It’s time to go.

    (Shay rubs his eyes and looks up to see Mel picking Harmon up.)

    Shay:  We’re leaving now?

    Mel:  Yeah!  Come on, let’s go.

    Shay gets up and follows Mel and Harmon out of the backyard.  Before exiting the backyard Mel looks at Shane.

    Mel:  Shane?

    Shane:  Yeah.

    Mel:  We’ll wait for you in the car.

    Shane:  I’ll be there.

    Mel:  Thanks everyone for dinner.  Tina…  Bette…  The food was great!  Thanks again!

    Tina:  You’re welcome! 

    Bette:  And thank you so much for coming.

    Mel:  Bye!

    All:  Bye!

    Mel, Shay and Harmon exit…  Tina gets up to take Angelica to sleep.
